From the Stands to the Podium

From the Stands to the Podium Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Outstanding.

Just over six months ago we implemented a new technique for delivering customer service and hired a new team member to see to it. Today I am proud to announce we have just been placed among the top 20 firms for customer service within the insurance industry! Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Very impressive blog writing.

About one year ago we sent out surveys to measure customer satisfaction with the services we provide; the surveys came back showing a far less than ideal score in our customer satisfaction ratings. Since implementing the new technique, you can see our scores have increased significantly. This is because we had decided to hire a new customer service manager to join our team with some fresh insights. Through careful elimination of many strong candidates, we hired the esteemed Adnan Ul-Haque, a professor of human resources specialising in business communication. Satisfaction Level

Q1 Q2 Q3

At first, Adnan may seem like an odd choice, but with his business communications skills and fresh take on things, as well as the help of our dedicated sales and marketing teams we were able to accomplish this amazing achievement and move from the stands to the podium! Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Reason for being in race of top companies is credited to communication skills. This is good attempt.

With that being said we owe a massive thanks to Adnan and our teams, and a special thank you to you our readers, customers and partners. None of this would have been possible without your uncompromised support. Thank you and see you next time! Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Great attempt to finish blog. Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: 256 words but it is worth reading.

Condolences to Those Involved in M25 Tragedy Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Excellent headline

It is with deep remorse that I must inform you, our readers, of a tragedy that occurred this morning. A member of our delivery team caused a crash on the M25 between Byfleet and Chertsey at 09:35, resulting in a 14-vehicle accident with 3 casualties occurring. We send our deepest condolences and apologies to both the families who lost loved ones, and to those injured in the accident. Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Impressive. Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Couldn’t have been explained in a better way.

The transport lorry was carrying flammable materials that spilt into the environment. Within the hour we had a chemical clean up team on standby awaiting the all-clear from the emergency services. It is important that we minimise the damage done by the crash without interfering with the work of the emergency services. Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Interesting approach.

Although still unclear what caused the crash, the police have told us at Harrison & Parker that this morning’s fog may have had something to do with it. Once safe to do so we will attempt to recover footage from the onboard dash-cam to analysis what went wrong, this will allow us to take measures to ensure this does not happen again with any of our other drivers. Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Effective use of visuals to support own stance. Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Good attempt

We are sincerely sorry for all those who lost loved ones today and also to those injured by the accident. Harrison & Parker team members will be in contact with all those involved to provide information about compensation; we will also be offering counselling for those directly affected by this event. Stay strong through these hard times. Our condolences, Harrison & Parker Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Outstanding approach. Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: 254 words, but I will take that.

Finding Light in the Dark Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Excellent.

For the past few years, business has been booming, this had allowed us to start some new projects. Unfortunately, last year business started slowing down and stayed that way. The first half of this year, sales were consistent, and we were meeting and exceeding our key performance indicators (KPI’s) targets; in the third quarter we missed a few of our KPI’s but the sales were hitting targets still. This final quarter our KPI’s stayed sturdy but our sales fell below our predicted target by 25%. Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Self explanatory. Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: This is called technical writing. You start with stating the past obvious and switch to present reality. Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Excellent approach

The sales dropped even though our KPI’s were hitting which shows it is not a fault of our team, but rather a lack in customers. Records show that our conversion rates were on target, but the actual number of customers had fallen significantly. Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Sound attempt.

To make sure we hit our targets in the following years, we had our analysts look into why we have seen a fall in customers. From their research, it appears that most of the products we sell in-store are being undercut by online stores such as Amazon. A survey sent to our past customers revealed that many of them either found our website confusing or did not know we had one at all. Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Logical reasoning.

With this new information, we know we need to redesign our website to make it easier for customers to order from, as well as promote it more. We will also be taking initiative to improve customer experience in-store to give an experience they’ll want to return for. Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Solution is offered to readers. Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Excluding sources, 257 is acceptable word count.

1000’s of New Jobs in South-East Ontario ! Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Excellent

Our founder Carl Carter started as a self-employed contractor performing refurbishments and other small construction jobs here and there. Since then Carl started ‘Carter & Co’, with a few friends in the trade, which grew into a moderately big construction firm building private houses throughout South Ontario. It is with great pleasure and pride that I announce today, that Carter & Co secured a $6 million public contract with the government of Ontario. We are overjoyed to be partners with the local government and excited to announce this will produce 1000’s of jobs for the local economy! Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Excellent story telling.

Carter & Co has been tasked with building new houses and public buildings throughout the south-east Ontario. The construction will start in 6 months on the 1st of April 2020, and we are expecting to employ thousands of new workers, from general labourers to accountants. This means we have jobs for everyone; if you have no prior experiences or have been off the workforce you can receive on the job construction training which will provide you with excellent experience, a secure job for a decade and chance for progression! Not only will we be hiring an abundance of new employees, but our current team members will also have priority to become team leaders and managers as the new project takes place. Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Very constructive use of situations. Comment by Adnan -Ul-Haque: Good attempt
