Is it OK to read employees' e-mail as a security measure to ensure that sensitive company information isn't being disclosed?

As a security measure, it is actually wrong to read the email of an employ since each and every employee is entitled to the right to privacy. When you look at the email of the employee without his or her consent that automatically means that you have gone against the law of privacy and you have breached the law security. Each and every employee is supposed to be protected in the workplace from the violation of the personal information and none of them should be exploited (Al Ladan, 2017).

Should you have access to those emails and files on a personal device that is accessing the company data via a 3rd party app (i.e. Outlook Mobile, or iOS default mail program)?

Now an employee of the company you are not supposed to access the information of the company or the email of the company without the authority from the management that allows you to access the information because that will be going against the rules and the policies that govern the company and at the same time you will also go against the privacy rules of the company since the company because even the company is entitled to privacy and security of information. Using the devices like the 3rd party app to access the information of the company is actually unethical because that will be promoting information misuse since the information can be conveyed to any member of the company and that s wrong because the information should come from the management (Morgan, 2016).

If you do read employees' e-mail, should you disclose that policy to them? Before or after the fact?

If you do read the email of the employee you're not supposed to disclose the information because that will be going against the right of privacy and that can lead to a conviction for a given period of time (Al Ladan, 2017).

Is it OK to read the documents and look at the graphics files that are stored on users' computers or in their directories on the file server? On their mobile device?

It is not okay to read the document without the permission, privacy is something that does not give everybody the mandate to access the information of someone or access the document without the consent because that will actually lead to piracy since the information of someone remains until he or she wishes to reveal and under the law piracy is actually punishable (Morgan, 2016).
