3 SERVER VIRTUALIZATION & CLOUD COMPUTING INTRODUCTION SERVER VIRTUALIZATION IS THE PROCESS OF SUBDIVIDING PHYSICAL SERVERS TO DEVELOP MULTIPLE SERVERS. Server virtualization is critical to Information Communication and Technology. Therefore, many organizations use server virtualization to enhance efficiency in its production process as well as communication. The multiple servers created from the server virtualization process function interdependently, and, therefore, they have separate operating systems. The Information Technology (IT) department in the organization is responsible for server virtualization, which ensures that every server in the organization is used. 2 CLOUD COMPUTING IS THE PROCESS OF SHARING COMPUTING RESOURCES SUCH AS DATA, FILES, AND DOCUMENTS. It is important in sharing, storing, and retrieving various computing resources. 2 THUS, ORGANIZATIONS MAY BUY CLOUD COMPUTING SERVICES OR UTILIZE THE FREE SERVICES OF CLOUD COMPUTING. However, free cloud computing services are associated with various risks such as external threats and attacks. The cloud computing services also include the software management tool that assists organizations in managing their resources. For example, a time resource management tool is offered in cloud computing, which assists the organization in time management project management. Cloud computing also provides essential services such as customization of various applications for the organization. Therefore, it assists organizations in reducing costs associated with the purchase of software applications and licensing. This paper demonstrates the organization’s preparedness on server virtualization, Microsoft configurations, and licensing. Finally, it describes Windows Azure and its features.

network connected to a physical server. Therefore, there is a need for server virtualization in Crystal Company. 2 THE REQUIRED UPGRADES ARE CONFIGURED AND INSTALLED THROUGH VIRTUAL STORAGE MAPPING. Thus, the primary objective of Crystal Company is to provide quality services to its customers as well as maintaining relevance in the Information Communication Technological market. The Crystal Company has improved efficiency in the Information Communication Technology (ICT) department as the base for Crystal’s preparedness for virtualization.
2 PREPAREDNESS FOR VIRTUALIZATION
SERVER VIRTUALIZATION IS A PROCESS OF A PHYSICAL SERVER'S LOGICAL DIVISION TO CREATE MULTIPLE SERVERS WITH SEPARATE OPERATING SYSTEMS. Thus, the properties, including applications and resources of multiple servers, are the same as those of the physical server. Larger organizations and fast-growing medium-sized organizations use server virtualization to ensure full utilization of servers in the organization. It will also promote efficiency in organizations. Therefore, Crystal Company plans to move from the physical server's use to server virtualization to increase its production by enhancing efficiency in its operations. Crystal Company uses physical servers to maintain different essential services, such as banking services, partnerships and affiliates, and customer services. From the investigation, the Crystal Company uses approximately 30% of its income on paying for host services, security, and disaster preparedness.
Therefore, Crystal Company has decided to adapt server utilization in its computing environment to reduce costs associated with third-party hosting services, security, and disaster preparedness. Crystal Company has structured its computing services according to a cloud-based computing environment, which is required for server virtualization. 2 THE CLOUD-BASED COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT WILL PROVIDE FASTER DEPLOYMENT, EFFICIENCY, AVAILABILITY, AND SCALABILITY.
MICROSOFT SERVER'S LICENSING FOR THE VIRTUALIZED ENVIRONMENT.

THE LICENSING MODEL FOR MICROSOFT SERVERS INCLUDES THE PER INSTALL MODEL AND PER CORE/CAL MODEL. “IN THE PER CORE/CAL LICENSING MODEL, EVERY WINDOWS SERVER LICENSE APPLIES TO BOTH CORES (I.E., BASED ON THE PROCESSOR CORE STRUCTURE)” (KUMAR, MEMBER, & GADE, 2015). “ALL PHYSICAL SYSTEMS MUST INVOLVE LICENSES FOR AT LEAST SIXTEEN CORES, EVEN IF IT INVOLVES FEWER CORES. FOR EXAMPLE, A SYSTEM WITH EIGHT CORE AND A PROCESSOR WITH SIXTEEN CORES MUST INVOLVE A LICENSE PURCHASED FOR SIXTEEN CORES” (KUMAR, MEMBER, & GADE, 2015). “EVERY CPU IN A PHYSICAL SYSTEM MUST HAVE ENOUGH LICENSES FOR AT LEAST EIGHT CORES, EVEN IF IT HAS FEWER CORES. FOR EXAMPLE, IF WE HAVE 2 CPUS OF 4 CORES IN A SERVER AND ANOTHER SERVER WITH 2 CPUS OF 8 CORES EACH, THEY MUST HAVE 16 LICENSES EACH” (KUMAR, MEMBER, & GADE, 2015).
THE WINDOWS SERVER STANDARD LICENSE GIVES TWO UNIQUE INSTANCES ON THE COVERED CORES FROM THE VIRTUAL WINDOWS SERVERS STANDARD IN THE PER INSTALL MODEL. TWO SEPARATE VIRTUAL MACHINES CAN RUN ON A DIFFERENT CORE. “EACH STANDARD LICENSE IS STACKABLE SO THAT YOU CAN AVAIL MORE NUMBER OF LICENSES FOR THE SAME CORE IN A CPU AS PER THE REQUIREMENT; FOR EXAMPLE, YOU CAN PURCHASE SIX LICENSES FOR THE SINGLE-CORE ON THE CPU OF A SERVER” (HANNIFIN, ALPERN, & ALPERN, 2010). EVERY CORE IN THE SYSTEM MUST HAVE ENOUGH LICENSES TO RUN ON EACH SERVER USING SEPARATE OPERATING SYSTEMS BUT HOSTED BY THE MAIN PHYSICAL SERVER.
Recommended configurations for stored storage
Storage virtualization is storing, sharing, and retrieving various computing resources across a system (i.e., virtualized environment). It also involves separating stored data in a storage device to a logical representation in a virtual environment. 2 THE LOGICAL STORAGE CONFIGURATION IDENTIFIES DATA LOCATION IN A STORAGE

SYSTEM THROUGH A LOGICAL STORAGE PATH. 4 A SINGLE STORAGE FILE SYSTEM REPRESENTS THE STORAGE FACILITIES IN A VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT. The Storage Area Network (SAN) is commonly used for storage services in a virtualized environment. This model has various benefits, including reduced management overhead costs and providing a storage environment that facilitates high- level security, easy retrieval services, data backup services, and data recovery services. In general, the virtual storage model offers critical services such as data redundancy, which will help the organization handle intelligent information that needs a high rate of accessibility and scalability.
Windows Azure
2 WINDOWS AZURE IS A CLOUD COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY THAT USES VIRTUAL PLATFORMS AND INFRASTRUCTURE TO BUILD, DEPLOY, AND MANAGE DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS AS WELL AS MICROSOFT SERVICES SUCH AS INFRASTRUCTURE AS A SERVICE (IAAS) (REDKAR & GUIDICI, 2011). Windows Azure can also provide various services by creating and running separat Virtual Machines (VMs) in a computing cloud (Redkar & Guidici, 2011). Therefore, it can also provide management services for the hybrid cloud, such as joining the open cloud an private cloud.
2 RECOMMENDATION FOR CLOUD COMPUTING IN THE ORGANIZATION
CRYSTAL COMPANY HAS DIFFERENT LEGAL OBSTRUCTIONS REGARDING SYSTEM COMPLIANCE ON DATA PROTECTION AND SECURITY IN CLOUD COMPUTING. Therefore, Crystal Company must use critical recommendations to address such obstructions. Crustal Company must use a clear and well-defined structure of the code of information. The organization must also provide necessary information preparations before uploading information to the cloud to ensure the security and accessibility of the information (Wang & Chen, 2015). Crystal Company must also involve technical and legal measures to help the organization mitigate various risks associated with unpredictable events in the cloud computing process. 2 LASTLY, IT IS CRITICAL FOR CRYSTAL COMPANY TO ENSURE THAT THE CLOUD

COMPUTING SERVICE PROVIDER PROVIDES SECURITY AND PROTECTION FOR THE ORGANIZATION'S INTELLIGENT INFORMATION.
Conclusion
Server virtualization and cloud computing have greatly contributed to efficiency, increase production, and growth of different organizations. However, many companies face different problems concerning data security and storage, especially for the organization's sensitive and intelligent information. Thus, server virtualization and cloud computing have helped different organizations improve efficiency and extension to cover different customer requirements. It is achieved through efficient data storage, security, data retrieval, data backup, and data recovery. 2 THERE ARE DIFFERENT ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH SERVER VIRTUALIZATION AND CLOUD COMPUTING AND, THEREFORE, THE ORGANIZATION MUST ENSURE THE RECOMMENDED CONFIGURATION FOR STORAGE VIRTUALIZATION AND CLOUD COMPUTING.
