Module 7: Overview,

Readings, and Tasks

In this final learning module, we will explore two enduring

themes in art: science and spirituality. In these themes, we will

find topics and issues that represent some of the most highly

debated questions of our time and we will be introduced to

artists whose work represents some of today's most exciting and

provocative explorations of these two, very timely themes.

To successfully complete this module, you will need the

following:

Course textbook: Themes of Contemporary Art

Once you have reviewed the information presented here, you

should do the following if you wish to complete "Option 2" of the

Final Paper assignment:

Review the module commentary;

Complete the reading(s) and optional media assigned for this

module;

Carefully review the directions for Final Paper: Option 2; and

Complete Final Paper: Option 2 and submit as the

instructions indicate.
