The World War II

The film was taken and stored in the archives of the Imperial War Museum in London so that it can be used as a reminder to the members of the public on the effects of war. The war led to the deaths of many people and those who died are all the members of the public irrespective of their differences. This means that irrespective of the race, their sexual orientation, gender among other differences was not considered during the war and as a result, all died in the process. The outcome of war is death and destruction of properties as it was witnessed during the Second World War and even in the Rwanda genocide. The purpose of keeping the film in the archives is for the coming generations to see and understand the effects of war on the nation before deciding to engage themselves in war. Also, the film can be used when studying thus enabling the learners to understand the effects of war.

The effects of war are felt even after the war, because the lost lives will not be recovered and also the destroyed properties cannot be easily replaced. In addition, those who survived during the war will live with the memories. So, after the war, a lot have to be done so that the lives of the members of the society can return to normal because war leaves a long-term effect in the society. The lesson therefore learned from the Second World War is that war has negative impact in the society because during the war, there is no development being done and also the progress that has been made will be affected such that after the war, the nation will have to start over again. So, to avoid this, it is important for the nation to encourage peace thus ensuring that war is not experienced in the future.
