Dale Carnegie is an employee training and development company. The company specializes in professional training by helping employees and businesses to improve their knowledge and skills thus improving workplace performance. The professional development company offers professional training to companies across the world through in person and live online courses. Dale Carnegie offers training in a number of areas such as leadership, effective communications and human relations, how to build successful client relationship relationships and to achieve sales (DaleCarnegie.com, 2021). Dale Carnegie contains valuable information related to training and developing of employees.

Dale Carnegie would be of significant importance in a number of areas to our organization. First, our organization has a deficit of employees who can become leaders. An employee does not need to be in leadership position to act a leader. However, equipping employees with leadership and management skills is very critical for the success of an organization. The leadership course will equip employees with skills to transition from being high performers or good supervisors into effective leaders.

Dale Carnegie offers an effective communications and human resource relations course that comprises of 8 learning sessions (DaleCarnegie.com, 2021). The course gives employees the human skills needs to thrive in any workplace setting. It helps employees to form more close and rewarding relationships with other employees built on trust and dignity. The course also helps employee grow their confidence and competence in interacting with other employees in workplace. Strong human relations in an organization is very important. It creates a strong workplace culture built on strong relationships and this significantly influences productivity (Reece & Reece, 2016). Therefore, training would have significant impacts to our organization. For employees to work together, they must learn how to create relations with other employees. Effective human relations cannot be achieved if employees lack the necessary competence, skills and knowledge to create human relations. Employee training and development comes in many forms and training on effective communication and human relations is one of them. The effective communications and human relations course by Dale Carnegie also helps employees to become influential communicators, focused leaders and problem solvers (DaleCarnegie.com, 2021). The offering of the course comes in handy and employees are able to benefit from a wide range of knowledge and skills. Furthermore, the course helps employees to learn how to tackle complex challenges, build team harmony effectively and expand their ingenuity.

Another way in which Dale Carnegie can be of benefit to our organization is that it trains employees about managing workplace conflict. Workplace conflict can result in low productivity within an organization. Conflicts in workplace are inevitable, however, understanding how to manage them is important. Dale Carnegie offers training to employees on how to manage conflicts in the workplace.

However, the organization falls short when it comes to training and development of employees based on their career professions. For example, if accountants need to advance their skills and knowledge in their career path, Dale Carnegie does not offer such training. The organization offers general workplace training and development and not training related to one’s career path. Overall, training and development is very important in workplace, it equips employees with the skills and knowledge needed to increase productivity.
