2 = Student completes the reflective essay assignment by identifying the client situation/background, without violating HIPAA. Student articulates the role of the professional nurse in provision of care that demonstrates cultural and spiritual competence with respect for individual preferences, values and beliefs. Student articulates a reflection of their learning in a standard 5-paragraph essay format with 2 or less grammatical errors. (Satisfactory)
3 = Student identifies a client situation, maintaining HIPAA, articulating the role of the professional nurse in providing culturally and spiritually competent patient-centered care with respect to client/family preferences, values and needs. Student presents the essay in a standard 5-paragraph format with no grammatical error, logical flow of thought, and evidence of reflective learning from the clinical experience. (Satisfactory)
