Some evaluations will be modified based on the emphasis (or lack of it) regarding certain aspects of the decision. If an item is circled, it was not addressed in the report:

If the following items are checked/circled, it means that it was not addressed well in the report: Presentation (5%) Comma usage: After prepositional phrase, natural pause Punctuation – semicolon, colon, period, quotes, capitalization Whole numbers: less than 10, 10 or greater, at start of sentence

Word choice – unprofessional, extreme words, slang A company is an “it”, not “they.” Management is “they”. Contractions are not appropriate Sentence structure – fragment, run-on, awkward, noun needed Paragraph structure – needs topic sentence Section structure – headings are needed; don’t place on last line Repeating case facts without drawing implications Proofread was needed; significant misspellings Font size was too large; too small; inconsistent
