ASUS AC1900.txt
#This router supports everything that a geek home user would have on their network. The router has Linux as it's OS and supports time machine, DHCP reservation. USB drives up to 2 TB that are available on internal and external network and even Open VPN and FTP Server. I particularly like the real time traffic monitor. This would be good for home users to judge if they need to pay less or more for slower or faster internet speeds (it gives you information how busy your network is- mb/sec up or down). I have 2 other routers re-brodcasting my wifi on my network as well as Microsoft Home Server, an Asterisk PBX, PS3, Apple Mini as media server (Plex), MacBook, Windows 8.1 and mobile devices such as iPad/iPhone. I use VPN (other than the router home VPN) to get into work. I need to cut down and live more simply....read a book...a real book! #I just installed this and it was a breeze. It works great and I couldn't be happier. I have it installed in my upstairs bedroom of my 2000 square foot two story home. It has full bars in the basement where I have an entertainment room. I tested it this morning outside. I was able to walk 200 feet before I lost signal. It's worth the money. I am running 12 units off it. 2 dish hoppers with joeys, 4 cell phones, a desktop, laptop computer, xbox one and a printer, #I am impressed by how many features this router comes with for such a great price. From the start, I ditched the ASUS firmware for Shibby's build of TomatoUSB, which unlocked even more potential. I decided to go with the wireless N version instead of the newer AC version because I can't see myself owning anything that supports AC for some time. I like how compact the router is (it looks really big in the pictures for some reason) as well as the external antennas. If I had to pick a few things I didn't like, it was the lack of documentation from ASUS on the router. I felt the manual to be a bit thin, and the included windows CD useless. I had to find out about some of the router's features (like the firmware restore mode WITHOUT having to use Windows) from forums rather than from ASUS themselves...I feel if you build a feature into a product, tell people about it! Overall, very impressed with the capabilities of the router, especially given the price. Deserving of 5 stars in my opinion. #Though the one I purchased was used, it still holds up and performs well. Firmware has many settings to choose from, almost eliminating the need to use custom firmware (though the likes of DDWRT support it if you insist on using one). I don't have many devices hooked to it at once (since it's just me using this), so I cannot test the full extent of but it handled them all well. This includes a phone, a computer, and three game consoles doing various things with each. That said, it tends to heat up quickly. Not to dangerous level, but something to keep in mind. #I bought this to replace my junk Linksys EA6350. This thing is not small, so make some room for it, but what it lacks in cuteness & tininess, it makes up for in powerful'ness and BOLD looks. This router has been plugged in for 4 days now and it has more options in it than a fully loaded Cadillac. It has wireless steering which, if a frequency is getting clogged/bottlenecked it steers a device to another (this option is EXTREMELY techy, so leave it at default unless you are an wireless guru equivalent to a double PHD aerospace engineer). Otherwise there are some nice options inside this router. You can physically see where your kids go on their computer, you can see the live and history of bandwidth usage, create a guest network, parental control, connect a external HDD for media server etc.... Compared to what I had this is awesome! Wireless range is great... In my car leaving for work I am still on my network 6 houses away and the router is in a closet behind a garage door and 3 walls from my car, that's good coverage in my book. #Had mine for a few weeks now. One of the cleaner UIs for configuration I've seen on a router. Very nice surprise. Seems to do everything well and has a tad better range than my previous 2 routers. Wireless speeds are good. The only thing it does not excel in is network routing and data transfer. I have a NAS and run a plex media server. On occasions accessing shared network folders and data transfer bog the router down worse than my previous one. Plex still runs fine though for internal and external users. Overall great value router. Happy with my purchase #Works great so far. Wireless speed tests max at at 100 mbps, which is what my service is rated for. My smart TV connects and streams in 4K significantly quicker than it did with my old b/g/n rated router. Plenty of customizable options as well. One star off because it is pretty slow to make any changes, took over a minute to change from the default password whereas every other router I've owned took a few seconds at most. But given that it's not something I do all that often it is a pretty minor annoyance. #I've had this for about a month now, and haven't had a single problem with the wireless. Works fantastically with all of our devices! The one complaint I have is about the built-in print server. This piece was junk on my old Asus router and it's still junk. We get frequent brown-outs, and everything is on battery backup except for the laserjet printer that is plugged into the USB 2.0 port on this router, because you're not supposed to plug a laserjet into a UPS. So whenever we get a brown-out, the printer is gone from the Asus and it's a pain to get it added back again. A lot of times, it'll finally show up, but after printing one or two pages, it disappears again! I finally gave up on it and threw down more money on a wireless print server. Too bad they can't get that feature to work reliably on this router. #Installation was easy--four stars for the experience of setting it up. Performance, though, is just okay. It has been reliable, but I haven't noticed any appreciable speed increase from my prior, very old router (Actiontec FIOS router). I was hoping for a noticeable improvement. The range is slightly better. However, for a high-end, top-of-the-line router, my expectations were higher. I am not a "techie", so I have tweaked the router very much. I do use the SmartConnect and other features on the router. Works as advertised. No problem with dropped connections at all so far. #Watch out if you intend to flash this unit with for instance OpenVPN. it will effectively render the wireless unusable. MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE FLASHING THE ROM. It also reports back to all your uses back to Asus without asking you: Violation of privacy. Other than that, it does wjat it is supposed to do but at sppeds much lower than advertised like most routers especially when it comes to wireless mode. #For the coin I dropped on this router, it disappoints greatly. Even with Merlin WRT firmware, it has week signal strength 2 rooms away. I’ve tried all the tricks, changing channels, locations, powerline extenders, you name it. Maybe my 1969 raised ranch has lead walls- but this router was no match for them. Wish I’d purchased another TP-Link. #Impressive router great range and speeds while it is functioning, however I would NOT recommend it. I purchased this router about a month and a half ago, upgraded to the latest firmware immediately and the router bricked 1 1/2 months in out of nowhere. Although many reviewers have said that updating the firmware fixed many problems, it is not a fix-all. Went through amazon support with no avail to fix it. Also used recovery disk to restore firmware with no success. Router might be better if you flashed 3rd party firmware on it out of the box. OVERALL: it is a good router with high speeds and range, as long as you are willing to take the risk that it might become useless within a year. #Worked like a champ for about 10 months... Then it started having issues where it would not allow users to connect to 2.4 or 5Ghz... Sent it in for RMA only to have it sent right back to me... Terrible customer service and during the RMA process you are not issued a replacement. So you need to have an old router laying around or buy a new one just to send it in for repairs... I happened to buy a new ASUS Router as a replacement and intended to use this are an access point once it was repaired. The new ASUS Router was a piece of crap. It isnt working after a month of use. I even switched a lot of devices to wired to take a load off of the wireless traffic. I DO NOT recommend ANY Asus router products and I will not be buying their products in the future due to terrible quality and customer service. #Looks fancy and claims to have many funcationalities. However, It drops connection constantly. Granted that I live in an apartment with many wifi signals, I'd expect such an expensive router of a better signal strength. I returned it and replaced it with $30 linksys router, much better signal strengch and no more drops. What a joke!! #I have had this now for over a year. At first this thing was a rock star. It was fast with good range even with the big house we live in, but right about the one year mark my Wifi started dropping and signal strength was horrible. I did call ASUS support which was great but nothing they have sent me to try has worked in fixing the issues. Because I did have issues in the past with wireless routers going bad within the year or just after the year mark, I did buy a square trade 2 year warranty which I have now filed a claim for so we will see how that goes. #I specifically bought this unit to use with my 3G device. In short it did not work. I called to talk with tech support and they told me I did not do my due diligence in finding out that this router does not support any particular standards. So maybe it will work with your Ethernet card maybe it won't. USB drive, might not work with that either. Are they going to mention that in the product description or even put a * mark and some fine print at the bottom. NOPE. If you want this device I suggest you buy it from a store so you can return it. Also if you were wondering about the data transfer speeds at 900 Mbps let me add that * for ya. *That is 450 Mbps going to 2 different devices that have a 450 Mbps capable wifi card. You can not get 900 Mbps to a single device, but 900 total through put to all devices combined. #I cannot say or write enough about how much I HATE!!! this product and the company. They have one of the worst customer service I have ever been in contact with. First of, it is not easy to use as they claim. Have spent half my day (Saturday) to figure out where to find this router password or security key without success. Got on the website to find help for this trouble - NONE! available. Called the number 1-812-282-2787 on the so called "manual" (almost gave up trying to get through). Only to be told there was no technician available to help me out! Hello, all I need is to be pointed in the right direction where to find the password I need to set-up ROKU. How difficult can that be... CONCLUSION: I NEVER spend my money on an ASUS product ever again!!!! #And this one did until I applied the manufacturer's suggested firmware upgrade. Then like magic everything went "poof". I could still ping the router from my main machine but the router would not show up on my local network nor to the many wireless devices we have in our home. I could still access the internet but only by plugging my main machine into our ISP's modem. The ASUS router became useless. I called ASUS tech support and received zero satisfaction. After over 30 minutes of suggested tweaks, including resetting the router to its baseline settings I gave up; returned the router to Amazon for a refund, went to a local store, and bought a NetGear router of equivalent capabilities (and for less money). It worked first time! Right out of the box and even after applying a firmware upgrade! Do a better job, ASUS! I'm very disappointed in ASUS. I've bought several of their motherboards for machines I've assembled and I've always been pleased by their product. Until now. #I have had this router for about 7 months and it has been nothing but crap. I bought mine at best buy it worked initially after firmware update but still drops internet while the wifi signal strength remains strong. I actually paid the full retail price. I will never buy another Asus product again. #Did my research on the router went with it even though I saw some warning signs about 5Ghz and I must say. I should of taken those warning signs. Coverage is better than the Netgear nighthawk that I return a few weeks ago, but I keep on constantly drop connection with 5ghz when trying to live stream. When I drop I also notice it says I have a 2 bar connection, the thing is the router is in the next room (living room). My walls aren't thick if so my Netgear would of had issues with dropping connection as well. I just purchased the Amplifi LR (Mesh network) (We'll see how that works out) and will be returning this when I get it. As for everything else. 2.4Ghz is amazing. No issues with the hardware of it rebooting multiple times as other mention in some reviews.
Linksys AC1750.txt
#Let me tell you how pi##ed I am for falling for Linksys scam. Purchased a EA9500 router to increase my wireless device accessibility coverage, replacing a working E3000 from Linksys. When I keep getting an error message saying I was entering a problem with the password from the bottom of the unit I received an IM wanting to know if I wanted to chat. Of course, I said yes. After a while the chat person asked if she could have tech support call me as she could not solve my issue. Tech support from Computer Services, TX called back, we talked and I allowed them to remote into my system. After looking around they said I had a problem with my network adaptor, or something like that, and said it was going to cost $200 for a one-time fix. Strange that I had no problem up until I was trying to install the new EA9500 router. They fixed the problem and then did a hard sell for a $120 yearly maintains fee. Thanks but NO thanks as I already payed $200 more than the original cost to get it to work!! YES I WAS SCAMMED BY LINKSYS TECH SUPPORT HELP. Want to beat I do not hear from Linksys or they comment on this review #I feel like a beta tester. On Sunday, I installed a faulty EA9500 Max-Stream™ AC5400 MU-MIMO Gigabit Router. On Monday, I spent over two hours with tech support and updated the firmware to version 1.6. The 5 GHz is still not working. Linksys tech support supervisor admitted that they are encountering issues that they cannot resolve with this new product and thus will be escalating these to the development team?! WTF?! If they wanted me to be a beta tester they should have paid me! The issue had then been escalated twice before being referred to the CAT team. The CAT team which is their development team has not returned my calls as indicated. I want an RMA number to return the product for a new one. However, I have been refused: “Stating this is not how we work” I have to wait until the CAT team returns my call. I have purchased Linksys products in the past and when an item is defective, you are provided with a RMA- Return Authorization Number and receive the new product and move on with your life. However, this seems that this product was brought to production before it was ready. Since I will not continue to hold my breath, I think Linksys needs to review their SLAs- Service level agreements with its employees about faulty products and customer satisfaction. For a $400 product, and this lack of support, Linksys should be ashamed. I am contacting Amazon so that I can return the product. #piece of junk. Read the reviews, thought it would be good. got it home, turned it on, was able to get to the menu to set it up. LINKSYS stayed on as solid light. I CHANGED the IP addresses (instructions on line) from the 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.0.1 series. restarted modem, and the LINKSYS logo just stayed BLINKING !! computer would hook to router, but KEPT BLINKING. after couple hours, fooling with it, called support. SUPPORT asked me for power input. it is 12v, 2.5A. THEY INFORMED ME THAT IT IS UNDERPOWERED, needs 3A, YET THEY SENT IT WITH 2.5 A charger??? This sounded LUDICROUS !!. ESPECIALLY since I RESET it, and the LINKSYS turned SOLID> BUT, since they don't seem to know what they are talking about, OR that they shipped a wrong power supply with the unit, I took it back. Got a Netgear X4S, changed the IP series, mapped my 15 devices to static IP addresses (so they matched my prior router), and everything is working. #Buying a router is usually a nightmare because it has to work with so many devices, it almost always requires adjustment of settings. Knowing that, I was extremely patient with this router when I called in customer support to get help troubleshooting 3 of my devices having frequent disconnects. I spent a few hours between two different days trying to get the devices working correctly. In the end, linksys support was unable to help me. All their suggestions did not fix the issues. When I did a little research I discovered this was a common issue with this Linksys router. I ended up returning the product and getting a Netgear ac1750 which gave me no problems at all from the very beginning. I gave linksys a chance, but was very disappointed. #I followed the instructions to the letter but was not able to have it up and running properly. it claims that the 3 external antennas expand Wi-Fi range throughout a medium-size home. I have a medium-size home and could not get reception in the furthest rooms. #Have had this hooked up for a couple of weeks now. The WiFi signal keeps randomly dropping on the router. There is no rhyme or reason for it. Wired devices seem to also experience intermittent slow down in speeds. I have a pissed off teenager because the connection will suddenly drop to nothing while he is in the heat of battle on Xbox. Needless to say, a hormonal teenage boy and degradation of the signal during gaming makes my life a little more complicated. If this persists, I will return the item and look for another router. Update: Returned router to Amazon and got another one. Replacement router was doing the same thing. Returned item and went with another brand. #I have Comcast and since we have a home phone with them they supply a modem and router in one, I purchased this based on others peoples feedback but this is actually not necessary to access the internet, and since it is only a Router I can't connect it directly to a cable jack. My bad for not reading the entire description. #Router works great, but Linksys' Parental Controls are lacking. Instead of filtering content by types and subject matter (i.e. adult sites, gambling, etc.), you have to block specific websites. On top of that, you can only block up to 8 websites and that has to be done on each device that accesses the router. If you're like me and want something more comprehensive, I would suggest Netgear's routers which include their OpenDNS Parental Controls. #If you are buying this router for speed and usability, I give it 5 stars. If you are buying this router for Parental Controls, I give it 1 star. I bought for the later and it's terrible. Plenty of threads out there with same issue and little to NO response from Linksys. #Much faster than my old G router. The setup is simple but can be confusing for dual band. The 5Ghs channel is not as reliable as the 2.4Ghz. I have had it in place for about one month. I have not had any issues other than I cannot receive the 5Ghz band upstairs and it is not too good for streaming signals. 2.4Ghz channel works better for me. Its okay but maybe a little pricey for what you get. #We had our internet speed upgraded through our provider and so I needed a more powerful router. The jury is still out as I still have some lagging going on when we stream on our tv. ( I was expecting zero lagging) Everyone else says that they notice faster speeds on their devices, as we use 5 of them in our household. Overall it seems like a good product. #The WiFi router works but the app is strange in that you can see the devices attached but when I name them some of them will show up later without the labels I added so it just looks like I have all these devices offline and because the labels are not attached it makes it hard to figure out which device is which. I do like the Lynksys router and it performs as expected. #Works great so far and covers my small apartment adequately with both the 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz. The setup process was pretty straight-forward and changing my wireless network password after setup was easy thanks to the web-based settings. Only disappointment was that some of my devices aren't actually 5Ghz capable like I thought they were but that has nothing to do with the router and I will upgrade them eventually :) #This router works very well and was easy to setup. I have an older house with thick plaster and steel mesh walls. Past ISPs routers left dead zones throughout the house. This router seems to be blasting the signal everywhere. No dead zones discover as of yet. Eight ports instead of the usual four gives you plenty of room for devices. #Provided wider coverage with less dropouts than previous Linksys router. Simple installation, firmware update installed smoothly and wireless management program both informative and helpful. #My modem stands in the basement and with the original Optimum router even the 2.4GHz signal wasn't reaching the bedrooms on the second floor. I bought this router hoping to improve this and it really did! Strong 5GHz signal even at the furthest parts of the house. I'm impressed! #I bought this router for my dad's office, we had a much older linksys solution but it was ready to be retired. the range of this router is awesome, from 40 ft away behind 3 walls I was still getting 60mbps download speeds (our full internet connection) and the signal was strong. I haven't tested out any of the "smart" features but we honestly don't need any of that stuff for the office. this is a great solution to some of the network bottlenecks we have been facing. I love it, I'd recommend it. #This wireless router Is amazing easy to set up compared to previous generations of linksys. I have been tempted to goto netgear a couple of times but truly am thankful that I choose not too. Thanks linksys for not letting me down! #Works good! Setup was very easy too. Can't speak to ultimate performance at this point because I don't really strech its legs. With that said it seems to have more than enough bandwidth for everything I could ever want to do within the confines of my small 2 bedroom condo. #Wish I could have given this thing zero stars. I cant even call this a door stop or a boat anchor because all those you can still use. Initially I liked this router, 6 months later, not so much. I have been without a stable internet connection for almost 3 weeks now. Last night I spent 3 hour on the phone with Linksys just to figure out they are sending me a replacement, YET AGAIN. So I need to mail them my broken one, 3-5 business days to get there, 2 business days for them to process their RMA and 3-5 business days sending it back. How long did it take fo you to get your money? The whole $399??? YES less than 1 day. I will never never never buy Linksys again. I will be returning my RE7000 range extender too. Wish I never wasted my money and don't waste yours. Go buy I night hawk or something else.
NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900.txt
#So fast and easy to install, and my Comcast Xfinity internet speed went from 50 to 87 instantly with this router combined with a Netgear CM700 modem. If you can follow written directions you can install this yourself. Very fast and easy. This was a quick fix to the sloooow Comcast Xfinity combined modem router. #I am so glad I purchased this item. I have had nothing but problems with my AT&T DSL. It would kick my children off the Wi-Fi, their phones would say it was connected but would not actually be. It would not allow more than one person on Netflix! We could not have all four phones, two tablets or any of our TV's connected at one time. We could not hardly ever stream any movies because it would take so long to download, we would get the circle of death! Since getting this we can have all phones, tablets, TV connected and have had NO Problems! It has been worth every $ paid! #I read up on these... and my IT guy gave it a big thumbs up... I had this up and running in MINUTES... right out of the box... The Guest user log in is especially nice. Seems very powerful... we can be outside 50 to 75 feet away and no interruption with Pandora or whatever... I like to play music in the garden when puttering and this seems to do the job that my other router could not. #From the minute you pick up the box and set your eyes upon the streamline and futuristic design accented with the golden box and quality illustration, you become excited about what unflawed WiFi can do for your gaming and streaming demands. Reasonably priced for the quality your receiving you rush home get it all hooked up and fire up your laptop or gaming console and realize that there is a reason it’s called nighthawk X6! It’s the perfect name for the perfect router. From the beginner to the networking professional it’s got everything you need to play or watch or protect your devices while experiencing perfect WiFi. Enjoy. #This router has been working great. Set up was really easy. All I had to do was plug all the cables in, open a browser, and it took over and set it self up. Took all of 5 minutes max. I took a star off because somehow I had a power outage or something? not real sure what happened, but long story short the IVP4 address between my computer and the router were mixed up or something and they werent communicating correctly, which left us with out wifi for a day. I dont really think this is the routers fault because after calling tech support, which took all of 2 mins to get a hold of, the problem was fixed by resetting the route to factory defaults and restarting my computer. Support was great. Still took a star off though because it was a problem. FYI if you need to reset the router, hold the reset button for a full minute, not 30 sec, not 7 sec, but a full 60 sec. #Satisfied with it's performance. It was easy to set up and configure. However, I lost WiFi for an hour yesterday without any apparent reason. And then it mysteriously returned. Other than that, I'm satisfied. #As routers go, the Nighthawk X4 is a bit on the pricey side and it takes up a decent amount of space. But don't let any of that put you off. The Nighthawk is a great investment, especially for a home with multiple devices. The dual channels allow me to dedicate one channel to high-use devices like gaming and streaming devices without bogging down browsing on my phone or laptop. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I'm just sorry I didn't get one sooner. #Received this Router yesterday (3/18/16) as a replacement for an old D-Link 655 that was dying. I usually worry about replacing critical equipment like this and always make sure I have the vendors support number handy for that inevitable call but this device was incredibly easy to install and setup. Very good GUI for changing settings. I was up and running in about 5 minutes. It is a beast size-wise so I mounted it on the wall behind a printer. Being able to completely disable all the lights is a nice touch. Performance is excellent. I like the built-in VPN and being able to tweak QoS among the many other features available. Hopefully will last a few years. may update later. #After having some other brand for nearly 6 years...it started having overheating problems so I bought this due to the reviews. Naw. I don't see an overwhelming speed difference. It is just like every other wireless router out there. I am neither liking or disliking it. Set up was easy though that was nice. #I bought this thing Oc t2013. Some occasional re-boots as devices could not connect nothing I could not deal with. Early this year it started not wanted to go over a certain speed, I get nothing above 10mbps coming out of the router, I have fiber at 100mbps coming to the house and the router gives me 10% of it. I even got a EPB (my provider) tech to come over and take a look make sure it was not their line. I bought this not just for speed but also for reliability, I guess not really for the latter. #I bought this router in high hopes but it failed. I have quite a few devices from smart light switches to computers and multiple mobile devices. The router constantly drops signal. Stating that this router is great for streaming is crap. Running one fire TV and it would constantly buffer with the router in the same room. No control over QOS priorities made it even worse. Nothing uses AD band so you can just not even look at that. It does have aggregation and 10gb connection for NAS devices so that was a plus but For $430 there must be better options. #The AC3200 was out of the box slower than the AC1900 and didn't reach as far. It is more expensive than the AC1900, and the AC1900 has more modes than the AC3200 (modes like Router, Access Point, Repeater etc.) Save some money and get an AC1900 and use the rest for some NAS. #Not happy with this router. The performance is ok given the Internet connection we have but the range really stinks. I have it located on the wall I the middle of the house and most of my upstairs rooms do not get decent signal or the devices timeout. With 6 antennas this thing looks like it should send the signal to the next neighborhood. Im also having issues connecting some of my older devices. #On paper this is the greatest router in the market as of today. HOWEVER , wifi connections get being dropped (2.4 and 5GHz), DNS resolution goes sometimes to a stand still. Even wired connections are not 100% reliable. I am running the latest released firmware as of 02/18/2014. Some beta firmwares circulating on the forums, but I am not paying this much money to do a beta test for Netgear. This product seems to me to be 6 months too soon in the market. I am returning mine today and going back to the old and reliable 802.11n router that has been serving me for many years. Great design, nice hardware, poor firmware, that summarizes my review for the Netgear R7000 NightHawk !!! #The product is good, the Indian tech support sucks. They do not have sufficient IT knowledge to help you resolve any issues. Once the 90-day free tech support is over, they will not give you any help unless you provide a credit card number for them to charge close to $100. They won't even answer questions as simple as how to reset the router. Linksys and Apple's tech support is much superior then Netgear's. Avoid Netgear product as much as you can. Good product with bad tech support is very bad. #This Netgear Router is a big disappointment to me, i tried resetting it to factory setting and updating the software multiple times, followed all those recommendation give here, did all the configuration and i was still experiencing connection issues. Especially the laptops and cell phones internet connection was intermittent, though the signal signal was great. I have about 18 wifi connected devices at house and this"SMART" router could not handle it and i had to return it. I believe they have some major software limitation issues. I had to switch back to my normal At&T router which works seamlessly. #Drops wired and wireless connections requiring a reboot every third day. I own two units that are configured in bridge mode with static IPs. Netgear releases firmware every 2-3 weeks, but the problems persist. These issues are not unique to me and have been reported to Netgear. If you do not have the patience to wait for a stable firmware release (hopefully soon), then you might want to look at another router with a favorable track record. #Got one, LAN ports didn't work. Got a replacement. LAN ports on the replacement didn't work. While I tried to get them working, the WIFI quit. Gave up and returned the second one. I have configured more than 10 WIFI routers in the past. I have never before had the problems I had with this router. #Junk. Worked fine for three months then died. According to Amazon, this router only has a one month warranty so it cannot be returned for a refund so I'm out $110. What a shame. More junk made in China. #It was easy to setup, speeds are good, gui is cool. All that is fine and dandy but this thing drops connections CONSTANTLY!! All the other good stuff gets thrown out if this thing can't keep a wireless connection. All of our devices loose it at the same time so it's not the computers TVs cell phones. It drops connections 4 to 5 times a day easy. My cisco cheepo router was slower but it kept the connections. Look elsewhere this is junk!
