Thesis

· List one concrete detail or step that the thesis statement takes.

· How does this step implicitly or explicitly seek to address the problem discussed in the paper?

· Discuss how the thesis does or does not fit EACH the following criterial:

· It is a reasonable or logical claim

· It is a controversial, surprising, or contentious claim (it goes against the status quo)

· It a claim supportable by evidence or logic

· It is an opinion (not an observation, fact, or belief)

Context

· Look to the context or history paragraph. Is there any information included here that the author’s audience (the leader/president/CEO, etc.) would likely already know? List is and describe why you think they may already know it.

· List any technical terms or jargon that you would consider to be “Specialized” or discipline-specific language

Problem

· Describe the problem in your own words.

· What, in your understanding, would be the negative consequences if this problem goes unaddressed:

· To the company/exhibit?

· To others outside the exhibit/larger or more global audience?

General Comments

· List TWO (2) things about this draft that you think are done well and discuss why they are successful so far.

· List ONE (1) thing about this draft that either seems most unclear or that you would like the author to develop/discuss further.
