There are two parts to this assignment.

1. Watch the video about the White Violet Center. The SPs obviously care deeply about the environment. But what are their religious or spiritual or faith reasons for caring about the environment? Is that explained in the video (perhaps more toward the end)?  Try to spell out what Sister Dawn seems to be saying about how their care for creation is rooted in their spirituality and make some thoughtful comments about that. 2. Read "Excerpts from Laudato Si." This is Pope Francis' encyclical on the environment. Identify one or two ideas in Laudato Si that you think are important or noteworthy for some reason and explain and discuss briefly.  This could be something that you find inspiring or something you agree or disagree with, etc.   

Note: this is still just one post, not two. So your responses to the two parts added together should be within the length requirements (although you can go over the maximum a little).
