Rhetorical Analysis Outline

Thesis

1. Unity is not a foolish concept, however, filling the American people's heads with false narratives is. This is exactly what President Biden was doing during his inauguration speech.

Topic Sentence

1. President Biden made promises to ensure our children were taught in safe schools.

A. Transition

i. Unless Joe is paying the national guard to make certain this happens, this is not a feasible statement to be made. Which brings me to my next empty promise he made during his speech.

Topic Sentence

2. Biden at one point made note during his speech to deliver racial justice.

A. Transition

i. Mr. Biden was the one quoted to be saying “Unless we do something about this, my children are going to grow up in a jungle, the jungle being a racial jungle with tensions having built so high that it is going to explode at some point. We have got to make some move on this,” so exactly how is he going to ensure racial justice? Moreover, his vice-president, Kamala Harris, has kept more African Americans jailed in California on petty crimes than any other District Attorney.

Topic Sentence

3. Lastly, our newly elected president vowed to make sure healthcare was secured for each and every American.

A. Transition

i. Government welfare are denying people coverage during a global pandemic and every president prior has been unsuccessful in securing healthcare for Americans. Furthermore, it is disturbing to make these promises to your American people when everything must go through Congress and Senate before even being approved.
