Report Revision
Revisions:
Intro/lit review:
This is a good start; however, it needs a good amount of work in terms of in-text citations to back up your assertions. One of the main components missing is your well-developed problem statement that is rooted in research. I need citations for the claims you are making in your intro. Further, you will want to expand on both your intro and lit review. Please refer to the article you are reviewing this week and see how they structure their intro...you want yours to be more like this.
Methods:
You did a nice job here, but I am a little confused of why you are using ethnographic methods and then grounded theory analysis. I would suggest using grounded theory instead, as you will be coming up with somewhat of a theory through the evolution of themes.
Final Paper:
This is a well-thought-out proposal that will undoubtedly garner some interesting results that would be of great use to you. You developed a fairly well-written paper that followed the typical structure of a professional publication. Your methods were your strongest section, which was thorough and addressed all of the required components. Here is a list of adjustments that should be made prior to your next research course: 1. remove the subheading in your introduction and make the whole thing flow 2. Explain more about the studies in your literature review 3. Eliminate hypothesis: we don't use these in qualitative work 4. Eliminate '"interviews that are only partly prepared" and replace with 'semi-structured interviews'
