An employment contract between employer and employee carries a lot of significance because it establishes the value exchange process. Through negotiation, both employee and employer agree on a point which they both find mutually beneficial. It is the point where the employee offers his or her services in exchange for which, the employer offers an incentive package with both monetary and non-monetary rewards. But reaching a mutually agreed-upon balance is often difficult because oftentimes employees expect something else whereas the employers offer something else. This paper will explore one such condition where I the candidate and employer Abco negotiated a salary for the job of admission representative (Saunders, 2014).
Research Hypothesis.
ABCO technology wanted to hire an admission representative with an annual salary of $45,000 but this amount was increased to $55,000 after meeting with me and this has been achieved through negotiation (Khan & Baldini, 2018).
Conclusion.
ABCO, a certification school in Los Angeles California hired a perfect candidate (me) for the position of admissions representative for a $55,000 annual salary when their initial plan was to offer a $45,000 annual salary. An increase in salary has been facilitated by the negotiation between the candidate and the employer and that is the effective tool for reaching a mutually beneficial place for all involved Stakeholders. Without negotiation, the salary decision would not have been made and even it was made, it would have disturbed the expected benefits of one party.
