Content Areas and Developmental Domains The main content area of this lesson is identification on objects using several attributes such as big and small. Thus it majors on physical science to compare the sizes of objects and materials. |

M.MD.PK3.1 With guidance and support, experiment with measurable attributes of everyday objects (e.g., big, little, tall, short, full, empty, heavy, light).
S.PS.PK3.5 With guidance and support, describe and compare objects and materials by at least one observable property (e.g., color, size, shape, weight, texture, temperature). |

Introduction/Anticipatory Set |

· Ill consider calling the learners in a group and tell them that today’s lesson is about comparing object sizes · Ask the learners about what they know about describing sizes of objects · Explain to them about the properties that describe the size of an object such as weight and length. · I’ll remind the student that the lesson will involve the skills of determining sizes acquired from the previous class. · Ill then show them some objects and describe whether it is big or small. |

Building/Applying Knowledge and Skills |

· I will begin by wearing a big pair of shoes for me then I will ask the learners to surround me in a circle. · I will inform the students that I have a problem with my shoes since they always tend to come off. I will ask them what the problem is. · If the kids respond that the shoe is too big, I will ask them to check the size of the shoe that fits me and the size of the shoe that is big for me. · I will then ask the student why the shoes are not right for me, when they say that its too big since its size 40 and your right size is smaller, ill reply “correct!!” · Tell the kids to assist you to think of things that are big and small. Ill then inform them that big and small refers to size. · On large paper plate, I’ll ask the kids to draw big things. · On the small paper plate, I’ll ask the kids to draw small things. · Ask the student to make a bracelet using the pattern of small bead followed by a large bead (Levin, et al., 2016). |

Assessment |

The students will portray that they have the ability to compare objects and describe their sizes. Evaluate large and small paper drawings and evaluate the large small pattern bracelet (Maki, 2002). |

Closure |
|
After the kids finish their activities I will gather them together. I will then have every student explain to us what they have learn on big and small attributes. This will assist in finding out the areas that were not well understood. I will then consider asking them if any of them has a question on the big and small attributes. Similarly, I will identify the areas that may be confusing to the students and find ways that can be used to clarify them (Lewis, 2019). |

Reflection |

· The lesson improved the thinking capacity of the kids since they had to think of the objects that are big and small · The practice was effective since I included the practical aspect in the study in which the students could practically prove · To aid in the understanding I as well included a weighing machine where we measured the weight of a big stone and a small stone and determined the difference between the weighs of each of them · My writing format of the lesson plan was well organized. · I was well fully prepared for the lesson since I had all the materials needed for the lesson. · I found out that most student had understood the difference between big and small attributes. · I would consider asking the parents to the children to pay several visits to the learning institutions to find out the progress of the kids as well as the techniques they may employ in order to enhance the performance of the kids. · The learning activities of the lesson met the needs of all the kids since the children seemed to be enjoying. · The experience from the lesson taught me the essentiality of early preparation. |
