QSO 630 Retail Manager Interview Guidelines and Rubric As a supply manager committed to the efficiency of the supply chain operation, it is critical to be aware of strategies for improving productivity and quality. This may include collaborating and working with other people in the field to acquire knowledge of how other companies and industries have improved their practice. For this retail manager interview assignment, you will create interview questions based on the topics below and submit a summary of your experience. These topics are used as critical elements in your final project assignment.

I. Inventory Management: a) Product Selling Season: Does the industry sell seasonal, steady, or hybrid products? b) Retail Inventory Strategy: Determine what inventory policy strategies the store has adopted for order quantity, safety stock, and reorder level. c) Impact of Manufacturer’s Production Strategy: What impact does the nature of selling have on the supply chain?

1. Consider domestic and foreign supply base, safety stock levels, reorder points, and demand variability. 2. Identify the production strategy for the company (continuous/mass production, batch production, or project-based).

II. Product Supply Contracts:
