Work Experience:

2018 to present- Fauquier County Public Schools-Worked as a substitute teacher throughout Fauquier County and in 2020 became a long-term substitute. 2022 Special education teacher. As a substitute teacher, I followed the directions that were left by the teacher. I assisted students with classwork and made sure the students were in a safe and secure classroom environment. As a teacher, I plan classroom curriculum and instruction, and work with students in the whole class, in small groups, and in one-on-one instruction. Provide support as a co-teacher in the inclusion classes. Monitor classroom behaviors. Complete classroom observation and assist the general education teacher where and when needed.

2000-2018- Transit Manager for Virginia Regional Transportation Association-Managed 25 employees, 215 buses, and 5 counties. Acted as the liaison between the 5 counties, attended monthly meetings, made schedules for drivers, made daily deposits, completed payroll bi-weekly, handed any problems that may have occurred, handled customer complaints, and completed monthly ridership statistics for the 5 counties.
