Use the list of “Action Verbs” to build your written communications content
Use in cover letter and Thank you letter
Be careful to use each term in the proper context.
Action verbs are an effective way to present your past skills and experience to a potential employer. From an employer perspective they will look for results, not just activities.
Career Objective
This is usually the first item listed on your resume. It is very important because it tells the potential employer what type of work you are looking for.
You may choose a General Statement for any type of employment.
You may state the specific area of work you are looking for such as Management or Retail Sales.
Note: Use only One Objective on your resume.

List no more than eight (8) Qualifications
Examples:

The Functional Resume is recommended for individuals with several short term jobs, career challenges, or gaps in their employment history.

Don’t just list job duties and qualifications from the job description. Incorporate Duties and Responsibilities into Highlights.
