Position Title: Counselor Salary Range: $3500/month

Reports to: Owner Full time

Responsibilities

· Counsel prospective students and their families on all aspects of admission

· Create questionnaires for students and provide personalized school choices based on students’ interests, achievements, talents, and needs.

· Investigate colleges and programs’ application requirements and survey curriculum; learn about the average scores of average students, and gather information on the majors, classes, student activities, and diversity and student services.

· Provide suggestions to students’ course selections, and help students develop the knowledge, understanding, and skills necessary for successful admission.

· Give advice to students on their standard tests such as GRE, GMAT, SAT, TOEFL, and IELTS.

· Prepare students for college admission interviews.

Experiences/Qualifications

· Prior experience in U.S. school application is preferred.

· Proficient in English.

· Familiar with the U.S. and Chinese education system including elementary schools, high schools, Bachelor, Master and Doctorate programs.

· Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral).

· Ability to organize and plan work projects including handling multiple priorities.

· Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.),
