Introduction Comment by TutorMe Tutor: You do not need to restate your title here or say introduction as it is assumed.
In the world today, in a group of six people, at least three or four of them are not properly educated. Lack of education remains a biting problem considering the daily increasing need of educated people across different sectors. This is a major problem because the current lifestyles demands educated people to handle things like technology, advanced science, agriculture, and all other modern ways of doing things. The fact that the world has gone digital means that the members of the public must also be digital and this is only possible when education is involved. For long, inaccessibility of learning institutions, high cost of education, substandard education material, and inequality in the education sector have been behind why many people never got a chance to get educated. The most affected people are the marginalized in terms of poverty, inaccessible geographical areas, and underdeveloped countries. The world has suffered intensely from lack of education and changing positively through granting education a chance would go a long way in solving a majority of challenges in different sectors. Comment by TutorMe Tutor: You start your paper by attempting to introduce data to prove your point, but you provide no evidence. I would add this in later and just make a more general claim at first to establish rapport and credibility with the reader. Comment by TutorMe Tutor: Daily increase of needs of educated people….. Comment by TutorMe Tutor: Add a comment after digital Comment by TutorMe Tutor: A comma after chance,
Background information
In the world, education is one of the oldest practices that have consistently been done. According to Baker, (2020); it is believed that the first education system was established in the Xia Dynasty between 2076 and 1600 BC. Gradually, education started spreading across the globe as many people could understand the importance of getting educated. The western countries for instance America, UK, Germany, Canada and Australia among others were among the first countries to embrace education. However, education was first accessed by the rich in the society leaving people in the middle and low income levels uneducated (Harrison, & Clark, 2016). Schools could be put up but everything could be done manually a practice that continued until advanced technology started taking shape. In developing countries, education could first be done by the elders to the younger people. Schools were undeveloped and the quality of education was extremely low. As a matter of reality, many children from the wealthy families in the developing countries could seek education in developed countries which granted education a priority leading to construction of strong learning institutions of all levels and putting in place an effective education system. Comment by TutorMe Tutor: This sentence should be split in two for clarity
In the education system since its establishment, there has been massive discrimination as education has been accessible and affordable to only a portion of the society. Many schools have been established in urban areas and the charges high such that only those who can afford could seek education for themselves and their children (Omoniyi, 2013). This was the reason why private schools were established to open more learning facilities in different locations to eliminate the accessibility challenge. Nevertheless, there are many rural areas where a single public school could cover miles and miles before the next one and this has always been a major demotivating factor to parents and children. Comment by TutorMe Tutor: Since the establishment of the education system….
Different governments have tried over the years to try and make education not only accessible but also affordable through offering free education especially to low and middle levels of learning and making such learning mandatory. However, the measure has not been effective enough in ensuring that levels of lack of education has been reduced significantly. There are a lot of many other challenges facing the society for instance culture that has hindered many especially in developing countries from seeking to get educated (Barro, & Lee, 2013). There are also millions of those who have a chance but life challenges caused them to fail to attain completion for instance high late of absenteeism and other dropping from school. But from the high levels of lack of education among many people in the world, the issue remains a major global challenge. Supporting arguments
According to Omoniyi, (2013) in African countries it was noted that ailments like HIV/AIDS led to the death of many people especially parents. The situation left many children orphans and with no one to take care of their educational needs. Many of such children could seek for survival tactics ignoring the need to get educated and this has made the world to record a high rate of uneducated individuals in the society. Secondly, education has been spread in a discriminative manner where the system was created in a manner it suits people in some geographical areas and class in the society (Barro, & Lee, 2013). The sad reality is that a high number of people belong to the disadvantaged socioeconomic class and geographical locations. Few and less impactful actions have been applied to resolve the challenge leading to many people getting over the studying period without getting educated. Comment by TutorMe Tutor: Many of these students
According to Levin, (2017); poverty and culture are two major things hindering successful levels of education. There is some culture in developing countries where education especially for girl children is considered a waste leading to many girls remaining uneducated. As a matter of reality, these some countries have faced a high number of early marriages eliminating any opportunity for the girls to get educated. With the ever increasing poverty rate, many school going children have been compelled to engage in economic activities to assist their parents put food on the table (Sahin, Arseven, & Kiliç, 2016). According to Levin, (2017) the situation has led to high levels of school absenteeism and gradually developing the urge to drop out of school and engage in menial businesses completely. Comment by TutorMe Tutor: Especially for girls or you could say for female children
According to Harrison, & Clark, (2016); there are a lot of people considered as educated in the world today but their way of thinking, handling issues, and perception is similar to those that never got the chance to get educated. This challenge has been contributed by the presence of a substandard quality of education that many people have gone through in the history of the world. Poor quality of education has made some veterans to suffer for long and live as if they never got the chance to get educated. This is a major challenge because going through the education system, one is expected to act and behave like a literate person. As a matter of reality, the lack of clear difference has come as a major demotivator to the uneducated (Omoniyi, 2013). Moreover, with increasing lack of joblessness, many have felt it is not important to get educated as it does not pay off.
Conclusion Comment by TutorMe Tutor: Center all leveled headings
Lack of education is a major global societal issue that has exposed many people to grave challenges like poverty, crime, unhealthy lifestyles, and making poor decisions. Lack of education is a historical challenge that is deep rooted in the history of the world where education since the beginning only favored some few individuals leaving out majority others. Though some measures have been embraced to handle the situation, it is evident the challenge is deep rooted and a lot more has to be changed from cultural perception and beliefs to individual beliefs and attitudes. This is the only way education can be granted the priority that would help in striving to attain it despite all odds and attain the best from it and reduce the number of educated significantly. Comment by TutorMe Tutor: Be sure your conclusion is a restatement of your conclusion.
