Job duties

Developing:

· Actively participated in gathering the requirements from business users according to the new layout.

· Collaborated with Business users and cross functional teams to develop Business Requirement Documents (BRD),

· Responsible for extracting data from the database, storing into QVD files, write load scripts, and develop UI according to user requirements.

· Involved in designing, developing, testing, publishing, maintaining and supporting QlikView applications. 

· Responsible for creating QVDs, QVW files and scheduled the tasks in Publisher to reload them. Created complex QV data model to handle complex relationship between multiple fact tables.

· Initially provided the proof of concept to show the functional feasibility of the QlikView implementation.

· Dashboards are designed based on the survey’s reports received from business users which are collected from members and providers

· Strong understanding in creating Dashboards for the required KPI's in QlikView application.

· Imported the raw data from different types of data sources like SAAS, MS Access, SQL SERVER, Teradata, Hive, Hadoop, EXCEL files and config files by using OLEDB/ODBC.

· Designed the QlikView applications from scratch to support reporting and business intelligence.

· Used advanced scripting, set analysis, advanced aggregation functions and advanced charts.

· Developed QV Dashboards using various Chart types (straight, pivot, bar, Pie, gauge, combo, List boxes, Input Field, Table Box, sliders).

· Used PL/SQL programming to develop Stored Procedures/Functions and Database triggers.

· Experience in using QV Functions related to string, date, color and formatting.

· Developed User Interactive Sheets & Reports as per business needs.

· Developed views in DB to load the relevant Data in QlikView Applications.

· Used SQL Server as backend and QlikView script for ETL Operations for extracting,

· Implemented Security using section access.

· Extensively implemented incremental loading to decrease the load time / increase loading performance. Install QlikView Products across Development and Prod environments.

· Expertise in Full Life Cycle implementation of a data warehouse project that includes Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation and Maintenance.

· Involved in User Training Sessions and Preparing Documentation.

· Implemented 3-layer architecture, binary loads and incremental loads for optimal performance of the Dashboard reloads, rescaling and to adhere to data retention standards.

· Established a standard structure for test and working files (QVW) and version controlling to maintain parity between production and test environment.

· Debugging the QlikView server issues through server logs, Fiddler logs.

· Expertise in implementing the QlikView dashboard security model using Section Access.

· Deployed application across various environment's (Dev, QA & PROD). Configured, scheduled and monitored various jobs using QlikView Management Console (QMC/QEM).

· Used advanced scripting, set analysis and macros, advanced aggregation functions and advanced charts.

· Testing Applications using review checklists, Data quality for Quality Assurance before delivering to the end users.

Admin kind of activities:

· Performed different tasks like extraction, reload tasks, distribution tasks, reduction, deploying apps, scheduling, User management, license management, Clustering and licensing using QMC.

· Testing Applications using review checklists, Data quality for Quality Assurance before delivering to the end users.

· Involved working with QlikView administrator to optimize QlikView performance.

Supporting to the application when issues arises from the end user:

·         Average day in the life of this role: Reviewing open tickets in Service Now, working open tickets, working with end-users on production issues, daily client standup meetings, daily integration with offshore team
