MARISSA JONES ONLY!!!
Hi Robert,
You begin your post with, "As I am reviewing the assignment in Unit 5, I think the most important thing for me is having a clear plan of action so that I can get the assignment completed in a timely manner." This is great because it avoids procrastination and becoming overwhelmed. The best advice I was given was to break bigger tasks into smaller parts and set achievable deadlines for yourself. Your post shows that you have plans to work on your project throughout the course until the project is due in January. That is great time management. While pursuing my Bachelor's degree at AIU the course assignments were due weekly, so now that the Master's program provides an extra week for each unit it ensures that the project is complete on time with its intended quality. Great post!
Hello Tinisha,
I enjoyed reading your post. Thank you for asking what types of leaders/CEOs we should be researching. I too was wondering if they could be past or current CEOs. I like your example of the United States and Russia’s leadership styles being very different. I think it is part of a manager responsibilities to be aware of cross culture and how it can affect their employees and company if not taken seriously. Individuals can come across rude or insensitive if they are not aware of how their words or actions are affecting someone else.
I like that you used Covid-19 as your example for individual and organization sources of power, since that is such a big part of our lives right now. I would agree that President Trump would be an example of individual source of power. Since he is the President, many people listen to his advice or recommendations. I would also agree that the News and media is a huge organization source of power. I think people tend to believe anything they read or see on Facebook, Twitter, and other media outlets. Typically, since what they are reading is coming from an article, people believe that all of the information is accurate.
Thank you for your post!

Hi Jermaine, there is an APA Word template in the AIU library. You can use this template for formatting your report. I will make suggestions for outlines the first week of the Unit 3 assignments. Until then, you can search within the AIU library or using your internet search engine for help with writing an outline for an academic report.

Hi Sherman
Base on your post, it seems some of us are having a difficult time trying to interpret what the professor met when he asked us to come up with "a new product." I read the objective countless time, and no matter how I see it, I still think that by "new," the professor means a product that has yet to exist. On one side, some of us believe that we must develop a product that is not in the market. This means that a product already on the market but improved by other businesses won't count as a new product. On the other hand, some of us think that we can choose an already existing product, but the product itself and the marketing methods must be entirely different from an already existing one.
Reading the same objective and other classmates' questions makes things even more confusing, so I hope that the professor can answer that question if he sees them. What exactly does the professor mean by creating a "new product"?. A product that doesn't exist at all will definitely fit in that category. However, how about including products that already exist but are entirely different from the original? All we will have to do is make sure that the product is not identical or, in any way, similar to the first of its kind. Also, marketing sure that the marketing plan is unique and made up by us as we plan the marketing process. The fact that you already came up with a product that you believe does not exist is already a great accomplishment. I can think of nothing that hasn't already been considered and shared by someone else on the internet. Great Job.
Hello Rodnesia,
Great discussion board post this week I like how you researching first and then making a plan or an outline for your project taking these very important steps will help you succeed. also, I love the product you chosen this was very smart because we need this in our life, everyone, for the rest of our lives and it's important that we improve this product to keep our babies and toddlers very safe also awesome mission statement keep up the great work.
Hi Teresa,
You have provided an excellent, detailed post. The answer to each question that you asked will actually assist in creating a great, detailed deliverable for unit five as well. The answers can actually assist others in establishing and developing their projects. In your post you state, "The transformation must offer a sturdier, yet lightweight covering (canopy) and more supportive spreaders." This sentence not only supports how your company will compete with competition, but it also serves as a great conclusion for that paragraph. Each one of your marketing goals will help to achieve your mission statement. What are some ways that you plan to use in order to achieve your company's marketing goals? Great post!
Hopefully there are no issues. Thanks!
