Interdisciplinary research constitutes a format called "IMRAD" that helps understand and manage data to bring the research together. The analysis of the paper titled "Quality of Writing of Discussion and Drawing Conclusion in Relation to Interdisciplinary Research" helped me understand how to write quality discussions to draw relevant conclusions. According to this paper, the discussion is the most detailed part of interdisciplinary research that starts from the narrow focus of the study to the general statement of the problem (Thakur, 2014). Interpretation of the research problem performed in the results section will be discussed in the discussion section by using relevant theories and previous studies. The research discussion section also helps us understand how interpreted results lead to conclusions.
Using this paper as a guide, I've interpreted my research topic (suicide) in terms of its discussion and conclusion sections, and I've found that the discussion topic of my paper is not much detailed. The research question is answered by making connections between result variables, but the discussion on results is not much detailed. The paper explains the procedure to write discussion, but my paper is not following the accurate interdisciplinary research method. Discussion is all about the general analysis of results by implying theories and analytical tools that help us look at the broader picture. In the discussion section, researchers look at all the dimensions of the problem and propose short-term and long-term solutions. Discussion is the central part of the research that connects the literature review, results, and conclusion to help readers understand the problem without any difficulty.
Research papers that fail to make theoretical connections between results and conclusions fail to engage the target population. Interdisciplinary research brings several disciplines together by discussing each discipline equally. Research papers got rejected because of faulty discussion and failure to discuss results in defined patterns. Discussion is one of the difficult parts of the research paper. The research would have to balance theoretical concepts and a general perspective on the topic in this section.
My research topic, 'suicide,' is not following an interdisciplinary research pattern to discuss the problem and its outcomes. The result and discussion section are missing from the research because the research paper is generally talking about the social issue instead of analyzing it. The research paper is not distinguishing parts of the paper, but it discusses the problem, results, and outcomes in general throughout the paper. The conclusion section of the paper provides the overview of the paper and what the writer tried to achieve instead of what research concluded about the issue. According to the guidelines of writing interdisciplinary research from the article, my research paper is a piece of paper instead of research that fails to examine results and discuss those results to conclude. The conclusion of the paper also does not provide limitations of the research. The paper's conclusion tries to restate the whole paper in short, but the focus of the conclusion is on what the writer has done instead of what the problem is and what this research has explored. The central focus of my research paper is on the 'literature review' instead of the discussion that shows the mismanagement of information. The conclusion aims to review objectives, limitations, methods, findings, and recommendations. But the paper's conclusion also fails to highlight any of these factors. The primary focus of the paper's conclusion is on the future direction of the research.

Introduction:
This week’s discussion is on the “Quality of Writing of Discussion and Drawing Conclusion in Relation to Interdisciplinary Research” paper. A thorough analysis will be given as it is related to the assignment Research Prospectus.
Body:
The paper gives a thorough analysis of what the author wants to talk about starting with the abstract to each section. The abstract and background could be the same, but are not always the same. This is extremely important to the reader. A good introduction or background sets up the rest of the dissertation or paper. The author gives words and goes section by section about what they want to explain or talk about.
In the class prospectus, this is a good formula to go by with the study of the dissertation to come as it is compared to the paper, “Quality of Writing of Discussion and Drawing Conclusion in Relation to Interdisciplinary Research. The author uses references to set up what they want to talk about. This shows a thorough and detailed research has been conducted. And with the prospectus to come you want to show the same thorough analysis has been conducted as well. Leadership, although a broad topic when you talk about a specific branch of service and specific ranks, you want to analyze. This is the same as the paper talked about and using references to show the reader how we go to those conclusions are critical to the literature.
The paper was about going in order and labeling each section, and doing this for the prospectus. So, the paper gave a detailed analysis of the topic and each subsequent topic talked about what they wanted you to learn. This would be accepted if this was analyzed by a board because it gave details of all knowledge and gave the results of how those results were reached. And that is ultimately what how topic must do go in order and give explanations or how that research was research. For example, when you talk about ranks in the Marine Corps, the research you can put will be faulty because you did not analyze all bases and Marines. Although in our prospectus we put the bases in Twentynine Palms and Camp Pendleton which is in Oceanside, California. Those are only two bases, and it is well over 50 bases in the Marine Corps. In summary, the paper is not faulty and gave good research for what they were talking about. However, the main point in writing states if they are any biases or could be inconclusive because of this reason or that reason and this paper clearly is well-written, then the data is pretty accurate.
Conclusion
In summary, we have talked about the paper “Quality of Writing of Discussion and Drawing Conclusions in Relation to Interdisciplinary Research”.
