IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) - The capability provided to the consumer is to provision processing, storage, networks, and other fundamental computing resources where the consumer is able to deploy and run arbitrary software, which can include operating systems and applications (Miyachi, 2018). Define and Discuss Cloud Computing

Cloud computing can be defined as the delivery of different services through the web/internet. The different services and resources that cloud computing provides, include the following: servers, data storage, databases, software and networking which are basically tools and applications for companies (Jamsa, 2013). Remote servers are important to host the internet.

Three Advantages and Three Disadvantages of Cloud Computing:

Advantages- It is cost effective, like it reduces the cost of physical storage through storing on the cloud. It is reliable. It is secure.

Disadvantages- Downtime, whereby internet is out then the cloud is basically useless. Security, especially hacking, and easy access. It is a young industry therefore not reliable, cloud service cloud close shop (Anwar, 2018).

Virtualization and How the Cloud Impacts it.

It is the creation of a virtual instance of a computer system in a layer that is derived from an actual hardware. It can also refer to running multiple operating systems on a computer system simultaneously (Banisakher et al. 2018). Although it saves the cost for a physical system, on the other hand it is affected by the disadvantages of cloud computing, like reliance on internet access.

Scalability and How the Cloud Impacts it.

This is the ability of easily and quickly decrease or increase the power or size of an IT solution. This is mostly available in a “scalable cloud,” where one can sign in and utilize most of the cloud solutions in a matter of time (Anwar, 2018). In the sense that some resources like storage can be expanded but at the same time it is impacted by the disadvantages of the cloud. Like the downtime might affect the process of accessing the resources that needs expansion.
