The leadership approach explains that leaders are made from acquiring skills and some other experience that one may inherit. The assessment and leadership styles approach are useful in providing the understanding of the leadership behaviors for global change agents (Van Knippenberg, et al. 2013). They provide understanding from different viewpoints. All this can be evidence because the assessment through the questionnaire assists one to know the ability and motivation that enables the organization to move to the next level. It also enables one to determine the real behaviors through the day to day operation and this can assist one to know how a leader can operate as an international change agent. The assessments assist also in knowing the personality traits in that they promote the leadership effectiveness (Harris, 2013). In general from of the score are high meaning that the valuation is beneficial for the behavior internal change.

The potential effect of the assessment for both the individual employees and the company is that employees are in a position to know their motivation and in return, it leads to increase in productivity (Van Knippenberg, et al. 2013). Through the model from Blakes and Mouton develop a practical model which is for training the top management about the leadership behaviors along a grid with two axes. in this cases it explains the concern for the people  and how  people in leadership combine all this to leadership styles.

The assessment also enables one to know the relationship between the employee performance and the leadership qualities. The assessment gives the organizations ideas on how to determine the employee performance, management, resource allocation among other issues. Within this employees are in a position to focus on their work and working toward the firm’s mission, vision, and strategy. It is hence an important aspect to ensure that all goes well during the operation of an organization. The overall performs of leaders in terms of the dimension shows that there is the positive influence for the employees and the firm.

The possible influence of the style approach for individual change agent and the firm, in general, is that it enables individuals in the firm to focus more on the vision and mission of an organization, one leads by examples because the leaders know what they expect at the end of the day. Also, the approach to leadership create strong bond hence people are willing to work as a team. People will be willing to change if they have trust in a person hence this assessment is part of the factors which increase trust (Van Knippenberg, et al. 2013),

For the organization, the style approach gives the company a long-term goal and objective as the leaders aim to fulfill long term strategies. It comes as an advantage because now the leader can be in a position to plan ahead and has all the skills necessary for the task ahead (Harris, 2013).The approach is also a good thing for the company as it can be in a position to stand out of the other organization and be competitive in the market. All this could come as a result of proper decision making from the leaders for the wellbeing of the employees and the overall firm in general.

Patrick:

Leadership assessments have been used for two primary purposes: (a) to provide information to decision makers regarding a potential candidate for a job and (b) as part of a feedback process for evaluation and hopefully, self-improvement. With so many employees telling horror stories of poor leadership that they have witnessed, what is going wrong and how is that still occurring?
