The strategic management is top-tier in three-tier, horizontal management. The focus of strategic level is on mission, growth, and corporate image of organization in high-level. The strategic managements sets up bench marks and goals and aids in decision-making for the direction of company where to go. The operational management is bottom-tier and make decision conforming to rules and complying with contracts in the direction decided by strategic level management. The middle management i.e. managerial is intermediate tier between strategic and operation level managements sharing domain with two levels with constant fluctuations. The main goal of this level management is improve productivity of employees, resource forecasting, and project planning (Johanna, 2013).
Each level of management has its own developmental stage of corporate responsibility. The strategic management offers insights to mid-tier management, and mid-tier management prepares project plans based on the goals. The operation management performs day-to-day tasks to reach the goal of a project delivering given guides to employees. The responsible actions varies across these 3 management levels. At the operational level, core business activities and daily practices are more focused. At the managerial level, the focus is on resource allocation to meet organizational objective. The strategic management sets the objectives and mission of an organization (Drouin, 2013).
Knowledge is the key to success. The operation managers may miss some information from strategic management as it passes through middle level management. I will create a site where company’s long-term goals and missions are available and middle level management provides their business models related to the strategic plan. In a quick glance, operational managers get to know the effect of daily activities in big picture. In this way, all levels of management is in a loop which enhances each level performance (Hill, 2010).
