Hello MEGAN

I enjoyed reading your response it was very organized and put together. I agree with your response on which marketing intermediaries are right for large business and small businesses. The wholesalers would be great for large already established organizations becuase they are just going to continue to help them sell their products without all the hassle or shipping products daily and customer service. The small business is better off with distributors as their marketing intermediaries because they will help promote their new to the market products. I read where wholesalers would sell pepsi and coke products where distributors would only do one of the other. I would think even though large businesses are well known they could still benefit from the distributors marketing their products this could save money on their end that is set aside for advertising.

Hi MEGAN,

You made some excellent points in your post. It was very interesting to learn which intermediaries serve which business size better. For example when you mentioned retailers may be better for small business because they serve smaller geographical areas and may be cheaper. As as small or large business, knowing which intermediary that can bet serve you could be a vital part of the success of your organization.
