Response:

1. A study was conducted to determine if drinking coffee in the morning increases energy levels at work. Group A drinks coffee before going to work. Group B does not drink coffee.

I will manipulate the IV by giving each participant different amounts of coffee. 

2. A study was conducted to determine if drinking coffee in the morning increases energy levels at work. An online survey was created to measure people's energy levels before and after drinking coffee.

I will manipulate the IV by giving the coffee to each participant at different times throughout the morning.
