EMPLOYEES TRAINING AND SELECTION 1
Students Name:
In any business organization, the most important asset is that of human resources. This is because nothing can be done in the organization if the employees are not available, nothing can go on in the organization. The organization has to be very keen when selecting the employees since they will greatly determine if they will gain a competitive advantage in the market or not. The employee hired in the organization has to be competent if at all the organization has to deliver quality products to their consumer. The human resource department which is responsible for the hiring and dismissal of the employees should be very keen and ensure that the employees hired into the organization meet the criteria being used.
Top talents have become a treasure that every other organization has to hunt for. The only way that the organization can acquire top talents is through the selection process. The organization has to give the vacant positions and the requirements that the employees have to meet to be hired. This will enable different people to apply for the job and then the organization can have a group of individuals from which they can select the best. To select the best out of all the applicants. The organization should conduct background research on the employees to ensure that they have an individual with the right skills. After the employee has been selected the rest of the processes such as the discussion of salary and even the terms and conditions of the contract will follow. There must be a full process that should be followed before hiring is completed.
Hiring top talents and competent employees alone does not guarantee that quality will be delivered. The employees need to know what is expected of them and be trained on the practices of the organization to give them more ability to deliver quality. There are various methods of training employees depending on the task that they are undertaking and even the resources available to the organization. Each of the methods of training has its own advantage and disadvantages and the organization should pick the best method to use in different situations (Nigro, 2012).
