Research Topic: Employee satisfaction in campus level Sodexo dining operations using IT capabilities due to lack of information on student availability to work
(a) Independent variable: IT capabilities provide student-employee the ideal of 20 work hours per week
(b) dependent variable (DV): student-employee satisfaction
(c) relationship of IV and DV: Hypothesis - If IT capabilities provide student-employee the ideal of 20 work hours per week, then, student-employee satisfaction will be achieved.
(d) ) Beneficiaries (from results): management; satisfaction from student- employees; Dining facility supervisors; dining facility users (students, faculty, staff)
(e) (Data collected): Dining facility management department personnel (main, 6 supervisors, 2 head cooks; other supervisors – logistics, transportation, safety and health; HR; etc.)
