Response 1

Hello Kimberly, I appreciate that you used quantitative research to develop the causal relationship between drinking and trauma among adolescents. Quantitative research methods are a popular tool suitable for studying the underlying relationships between variables. They are thus compatible with your study on recognizing the causal relationship between trauma and adolescent drinking (Bloomfield and Fisher, 2019). However, I would advise you that when using quantitative research methods in the future, consider incorporating other methods of data collection and analysis, including qualitative research, longitudinal studies, and clinical observations (Smajic et al., 2022)). This will provide a more thorough understanding of the complex relationship between drinking and trauma among adolescents.

Response 2

Great work, Sheryl, on the beneficial treatment alternatives for children and families affected by untreated mental health and substance use disorders. When dealing with such an audience, it is essential to ensure that you will offer effective treatment options addressing the unique needs of every individual while being mindful of possible ethical considerations associated with confidentiality, informed consent, and equity in treatment (Hasan, 2021). I can see that you have already considered the different ethical considerations that you will use for your study will be conducted ethically, and you will be able to find reliable results that can be replicated by the healthcare sector (Beauchemin et al., 2022).
