Research Proposal (Written): Students are required to prepare a research proposal on

proposal topic Toxic leadership and its effects on organization

performance in the Army. Which can be related to their ADM 699 Capstone experience.

A proposal is an idea, concept or theory which needs to have some evidence to support its

undertaking. Something related to their past and /or present professional experience is highly

recommended. Experience demonstrates that relevance of a topic and the immediacy of the

issue contribute to superior proposals. Students will then develop their approach to the topic in the

early weeks of the course and make a class presentation of their topic and research approach and

submit a written proposal. This proposal will form the basis for their Capstone Project in ADM 699.

Must follow format on page 14 below. The written proposal must be a between 15

and 18 pages typed in length not including refrence, cover sheet and appendix pages, a minimum of

Ten scholarly Journal article references with relevant citations

pertaining to topic selection using APA style, double-spaced with standard one-inch

margins all around, and in 12 pt. Assignment Cover Sheet page 11 (See Appendix) must be included see

page 11 below. The structural model for students to follow is listed on page 14 below. The model will

depend on the type of research being proposed. Final papers are Week 7. Late submissions will not be

accepted.

The following is the format for your Research Proposal Outline. Your proposal must follow this

format with appropriate amendment for type of research design. The paper should be 15 pages

in length. (Note this is a proposal for a research project-you will not conduct the proposed

research in this course.) Students will present their research proposals at the end of the semester.
