introduction: physical education is defined as a subject that is considered as secondary subject in schools for students in all school levels starting from the Elementary school until they finished their highest degree. Physical education is an important subject because it’s the only subject in the school that focus on body and health. Physical education subject gives the students the opportunity to be physically active and achieve many good benefits through it. I took this topic for many reasons and one of them is that you can see the obesity is Excessively exist in Arab region and Kuwait specifically and that affect many people. Also, physical education subject is a great solution to change how students think about the importance of their health and they must give more time and effort to be in shape and that will help them to get a happier and longer life. Also I chose this topic because I used to be a volleyball player and it help me to be more effective and start to be a self-dependent since young age and it helped me be away from street and doing something useful in my free time rather than stay inactive and start looking for useless alternative to spend my time with.

In this research paper, I’m to explain the importance of physical education subject in schools and how this subject could accomplish many benefits for the children health and behavior. Also, this paper will provide some solution to improve physical education in Kuwait. and use information from successful country that doesn’t have a huge problem in obesity and considered as a healthy country.

Research Question: What are the benefits of physical education in the health of children? Is it applied properly in Kuwait?

Search Plan (methodology): My plan is to use my sources that I have been taken from successful countries and try to use it in Kuwait without braking the lows or religion rules in Kuwait. Also, I will attend to AUK library as much as I can so I don’t suffer looking for extra sources and that will affect my research positively for sure.

Timeline and challenges: For my research. I will be starting to work on the research paper from May 7th and that will be a long period of time before the final draft is due. However, it will be challenging because I have three different group project and Ramadan has already started. So, I have to organize my time between all the research and working on them while I’m fasting but hopefully it will not be a problem for my research since I care about it and I really want to deliver something helpful for the community.

Detailed plan for primary research: I will interview Mr. Jassim Al-Tararwah who is the principle of Jassim Al-Kharafi high school in Kuwait and I will take his opinion about what are the method that we can take so we can develop physical education in Kuwait? and how can we make students care more about it?
