Option 1: The traditional Special Topic Research Paper will be between 7 to 10 pages (NOT including the title page nor references). All written material must be printed in 12-point font (Times New Roman, Arial) and double- or 1½-spaced with page numbers at the bottom.

Option 2: The Online Learning Resource Creation Project will be another viable route for students to contribute to the existing literature and raise awareness about the topic at hand. Students will design an Online Learning Resource tool to help others understand/learn more about a type of migration, comparing the mechanisms/trends within two different countries. Online learning resources can consist of videos/animated presentations (powerpoints), and any other viable digitally-oriented learning resource.

· Write a Clear Research Topic for the Comparative Case Study
· Provide a Clear Research Question
· Provide Clear Definitions of the research Variables
· Connect it to existing Migration Literature and Theories on this topic.
· Provide an Integrative Gender Approach with Valid/cited arguments:
(1) macro-level: Systemic privileges and oppression in migration policies and humanitarian aid systems (the state), (2) micro-level: Women’s Autonomy and Decision-Making power (individuals), and (3) mesolevel: Social Legitimacy and exclusionary/inclusive perceptions (society).
· Describe and Compare the interweaving Impact on Women and minority groups' Mobility.
· Provide an Appropriate Analysis, Evaluation, Synthesis.
· Conclusions and Recommendations
