Research Paper Outline Instructions & Grading Rubric
In Module 3, you are asked to submit a research paper outline. This outline will include a title page, body outline, and reference page in APA formatting. Please see the outline sample below to guide you in your research paper development. There will need to be at least four empirical peer-reviewed references present on the reference page. The guide below helps to format both the outline and then the paper.
Note: It is understood that the order of the paper and references may change as you continue to do research. This assignment guides in preparing for the paper and understanding APA formatting.

Inclue a brief paragraph of introduction for your topic. Discuss some general aspects or insights about the topic. When writing a formal paper, it is important to develop paragrpahs with at least four sentences in order to fully discuss the main idea. As well, it is important to discuss research from a formal perspectice. This means the first and second person should not be used.
