Purpose statement
The purpose of this paper is to look at major addictions and their effects on a person, the family members, friends, and the work environment in advancing knowledge that addiction is a disease. This paper will also emphasize the various methods of treating drug addicts as well as the counseling methods that are used in curing addicts and their ongoing development. Dexot is just but the beginning of a very long process where one learns about how to manage drug cravings and avoidance of relapse.
Substance abuse among teens is one of the most persistent problems in every generation. It is very important recognizing substance addiction at the right time, most preferably at the beginning, to avoid spoiling the health of individuals as well as social relationships. This is because how soon the problem is attended, the better it becomes for the treatment progress. It is important preventing addiction levels from raising and it is critical for people taking part in the prevention program. Education and sensitization are important aspects of handling this menace of substance abuse. Among others, counseling will be discussed as the mainstay of drug abuse treatment.
