The Impact of Overly Beauty Advertising on Teenagers
Have you ever thought about that an advertising can affect a person’s aesthetic standards? In recent years, some researchers have known that people who watch those advertising which has overly beauty picture can lead to depression or anxiety behaviors in women especially for teenagers. These beautiful advertising looks simple but hide a comparison process which is a big problem for teenagers' beauty standard by themselves. When they watch those advising with perfect image, they will start the following steps. Step 1: pay attention on beautiful image. Step 2: she will compare herself to the model in the picture and come out on the comparison. Step 3: she will feel the shame and losing confidence. Step 4: repeat this process until her heart breaks. Therefore, some people will always judge or blame themselves and some group of people will try to make themselves as beautiful as images. According to this situation, the over beauty advertising affects people’s beauty standard and seriously affects the growth process of teenagers. We should stop such advertisements from being overexposed in our lives and regulate the advertisement.
