CRM 333 RESEARCH PAPER GUIDELINES

You are required to select a course related topic for your research paper. The paper shall conform to the parameters set forth in the syllabus. READ THE GRADING RUBRIC BELOW AND MAKE SURE YOUR PAPER ADDRESSES EVERY CRITERION IN ORDER TO EARN ALL POINTS.

Turn-It-In (TII) Similarity Score

The TII similarity score MUST be 15% or lower or 10 points will be deducted. If you receive a TII score above 15% then review the TII report, revise your paper and resubmit it prior to deadline until you receive an acceptable score.

DEADLINE

Submit the paper no later than Sunday 11:59 PM EST/EDT of Module 6. Waiting until the last minute and finding that you cannot submit the paper and receive a TII score before deadline is not an excuse for a late paper and points will be deducted. Submit your paper early to ensure there are no problems.

You must then develop a very specific ISSUE that your paper will examine. An issue is often a specific problem. NO LATER than the end of Module 2, you MUST email your instructor with a very specific ISSUE statement. The issue statement is a statement of a concise problem your paper will examine.

Exceptional corresponds to an A- to A (90 - 100). Performance is outstanding; significantly above the

usual expectations.

Proficient corresponds to a grade of B - to B+ (80 - 89%). Skills and standards are at the level of

expectation.

Basic corresponds to a C to C+ (70 - 79%). Skills and standards are acceptable but improvements are

needed to meet expectations well.

Insufficient corresponds to a D to C - (50 - 69%). Performance is weak; the skills or standards are not

sufficiently demonstrated at this time.
