TOPIC: An argued recommendation about a specific issue or a particular

problem to solve.

INSTRUCTIONS:

You will identify a current, particular problem or issue about which you care or feel strongly. You will recommend the best way to solve the problem or deal with the issue. In order to recommend a solution, you must develop an argument to justify the recommendation or solution to the problem or issue. In order to support the position you are taking and recommending, you must present support from appropriate, scholarly, academic sources located during your research to validate your points. You will weave the sources into the appropriate places throughout the paper and document appropriately and accurately in APA style.

The problem or issue may be something currently affecting the local area, the state, or the nation. It also can be something more abstract as in a problematic idea. If you are not sure of your topic, get it approved by me before starting the research.
