Topic Research Paper Instructions

You will develop a well-reasoned discussion of the issues associated with that topic and your suggestions and recommendations for appropriate interventions, policy changes, etc. as well as scholarly sources to support your suggestions and recommendations. Include an introduction that describes the purpose of the paper, the context of the discussion, and the central issues; also, address the central issues and use headings to clearly delineate your points. Your paper needs to include the integration of sources to support your points and demonstrate your thinking through the complexities of the issues in discussion of the central issues and your recommendations. Your paper should have a substantive conclusion that summarizes your key points.

The second topic research paper is due by 11:59 p.m. (ET) at the end of Module/Week 8.

The Assignment

The student will write a research paper focused on the topic prompt in the research paper instructions and submit it during Module/Week 8.  The completed research paper shall be between 500 to 700 words and must follow current APA guidelines. The page count does not include the title page, abstract, or reference section. It must include 5–7 scholarly sources, with at least 1 source being the textbook.  The student should have a specific section in the paper dedicated to synthesizing their Worldview in their topic. See the assignment instructions and grading rubric for additional instructions and guidance.

Acceptable Length

The paper is to be between 600 - 700 words total not counting the reference pages

Formatting Requirements

· Assignment title, your name, school name, course name and/or number, and date (all at the center/middle of the document).

· Use one-inch margins.

· Use a 12-point Times New Roman font.

· Use double line spacing in the document.
