Photography Research Paper

Research Paper:

Students will select a photographer whose images they find especially interesting and produce a 3-page report (double spaced) on their photographer’s work /contribution to photography. The research paper must include the following information:

· Basic biographical information

· Philosophy of image making

· Exceptional contributions or accomplishments

· Description of their work

· Your interpretation/ reaction to their imagery

Students must site at least 5 sources in their report and provide three examples of their subject’s work. The examples must accompany the paper. However, students can use the computer projection system/ Internet or other printed materials (books, posters, postcards etc.) when sharing work with the class.
