Using at least five outside sources, write an annotated bibliography (using all five sources) and a research paper (using at least two of your sources) on the topic of digital living. Digital living includes anything about the relationship of technology to our daily lives. Examples include:

· Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites

· Texting

· Cyber stalking

· Cyber bullying

· Privacy issues

· Internet dating

· Video games

Part I: Annotated bibliography (50 points)

What is an annotated bibliography?  

An annotated bibliography is a list of citations of books, articles, interviews, or other sources. For this assignment, each citation should be followed by two paragraphs of about 50-100 words each, the annotation. The purpose of the annotation is to inform the reader of the relevance, accuracy, and quality of the sources cited. The first paragraph should be a summary of your source; the second should be an evaluation (What is the relevance of the source to your topic? How did you determine the source’s credibility? Is the argument effective? Why or why not?). For additional information and examples see chapters 15 in your textbook, the attached  sample, and this link:

 Note that your bibliography should be alphabetical by the last name of the author. If no author is listed, use the title.

Part II: Research paper (50 points)

 Write a 5-page paper on the topic you researched for your annotated bibliography.  You must use at least two of the sources you annotated and cite them using MLA format. Your paper must include a thesis statement that is supported by research-based evidence (that is, your sources).
