Chapter 1

Introduction (750 words)

Dear Students

Please find below suggested format regarding chapter 1 (Introduction) and 2 (Literature review)

TCHAPTER 1 (suggested amount of words: 750)

In chapter 1, some topics to be included are:

- introductory comments on the research topic Talk about the ecotourism and the Underwater Sculpture Park

- rationale of the research problem - The effects I have identified from the literature review on ecotourism (500 – 600 words)

- one research question what the environmental impact of Ecotourism and the Underwater Sculpture Park

- research objectives (3 to 5)

· To analysis literature relating to the management of Ecotourism attractions

· To access the management aspect regarding Ecotourism for the Underwater Sculpture Park

- one research question (students could include more than one research question; preferably not more than 3 research questions)

What are the Ecotourism effects of the Underwater Sculpture Park?

- hypothesis/hypotheses (depending on the research topic, this might not be necessary) – identify your hypothesis – prediction of what may happen for example during my research I will conduct a questionnaire survey to…………………...

- Potential impact of this study on future research what are future researchers going to gain from this research

The student could include subheadings for each of the topic mentioned previously. It is suggested that in this chapter, subheadings are kept to a minimum.

Literature review (1000 words)

Ecotourism and the country why are they important

Ecotourism the country and Underwater Sculpture Park

This chapter should include the review of previous research regarding your topic. It is suggested that this chapter includes several subheadings under which different subtopics related to the research topic are critically analysed.

In this chapter, you should include different authors and sources, prioritising peer-reviewed journals when possible.

Each topic included in the literature review should include justification of its inclusion in the chapter, according to research question and objectives.
