Research Introduction:

The research introduction is between 2-3 pages, and it provides background information into the history of your topic. The hypothesis of the research paper should be included within the introduction section.

Research Methodology:

The method (methodology) should be no more than 3-6 paragraphs. The method section merely provides step by step instructions/guide on how you did/completed your study. Based on the information that is provided within the methodology section, anyone who would like to repeat/duplicate your study should be able to do so by following the steps and information that you provided.

Research Results:

The results section is also about 3-6 paragraphs, and it provides the facts of your findings. The data from your findings can also include tables, graphs or charts.

Research Discussion:

The research discussion is the largest part of the research paper. It usually includes 4-8 pages. The research discussion includes a review of the literature and all other information that the researcher used to conduct the study. The discussion section should indicate whether the hypothesis is accepted or rejected. The researcher's opinion and feedback on the topic/issue should be included also. 

Research Conclusion and Research Abstract:

The conclusion section is a 2-4 paragraph summary of the entire paper providing a recollection and confirmation of the purpose the study, (confirmed that you did accomplish the purpose of your study/investigation), the importance of the results/findings of your study and finally what are the implication of your study.

The abstract is the last thing you complete for the paper. The abstract is never longer than a page. The abstract has 5 main components that reflect/summarize the 5 main areas of the paper. These 5 areas are the introduction/background and purpose, the methodology, the results, the discussion and the conclusion.
