Key points

1. They formed a campus chapter of the nonpartisan national student organization, the Democracy Matters (DM) Institute to deepen democracy and promote civic engagement.

2. Our goal is to establish an expectation that every student will engage in courses, programs and activities aimed at preparing them for effective participation in democracy.

3. Suffolk University’s faculty, students, and alumni are researching and reshaping the political landscape in Massachusetts and around the world.

Summary: How do the points help you?

1. 1. Our AR not only can sell to students, but also the organizations in the colleges.

2. 2. More than 10 years after our studies and others demonstrated the value of experiential learning for political engagement, there is little evidence that most higher education institutions and individual faculty members have integrated education for democracy into their programs and courses. For this article, it showed that there is a huge potential market to expand from common students.

3. That’s a great example for organizations. Many colleges have similar organizations and we can cooperate with them.

Key points

1. He was glad using technical tools to help him to teach the class.

2. He just gave 5 points to the video game to willingness.(1-10)

3. He never uses simulation to teach students and he has used practical cases to help.

4. He didn’t exclude teaching with video games, but the content must match the courses.

5. He thought that we can increase educational technology into undergraduate studies.

Summary: How do the points help you?

For all of the points, I can be sure that the professor accepts the use of educational tools for teaching, but it is not very interesting, and there are also unique ideas for the content of video games. In my opinion, if we educate democracy in the form of video games, our audience may be particularly small. For that, we gave up the video game instead of AR.

4. List the areas that you will not cover. This will be used in case the client asks a question in this area.

If the basic class in university teach democracy?

If we have to focus on which colleges have related organizations and curriculum for now?

For our research, we got a report of which name is the pedagogical value of polling-place observation by students. In this report, 257 students are all college students from 23 colleges and universities across the country. The professors and public officials cooperate to work for the Election Day experience.

For the result, the students expressed interest in more learning and research about the topics central to their experience. At the same time, students found their experiences to be valuable and reported learning generally and specifically related to course material. 75% of participants considered the time they spent on the project to be very (24%) or somewhat (51%) valuable.
