Research Article Review

As you will learn in this course, the scientific study of psychology would not be possible without experimental research. Therefore, a portion of your grade will be obtained from completing research-based assignments. You will need to complete three research article reviews. You will be asked to find, on your own, a scientific article describing empirical research over one of the topics covered in each unit of the class. You will be asked to read the article and then write two pages, double-spaced, summarizing the study and then discussing its merits and weaknesses, based on your own understanding of cognitive psychology. A rubric will be provided for the research article review assignments.
