Topic: Manifestations of Economic Development

Based on the articles by Konadu-Agyemang (on Ghana), Yue-man, Lee and Kee (on China), and the two articles by both Tabb and Galster (on Detroit), compare emerging development geographies that have occurred in Ghana, China and Detroit under globalization along spatial processes ONLY.

This is a 3-2-paragraph essay and should fit onto one page, 1.5 spacing and 1-inch margins (About 400 words).

Second paragraph should identify and describe spatial processes for the core (USA).

Third paragraph should identify and describe the spatial processes in the semi-periphery (China). This paragraph should be about 100 words.

Fourth paragraph should identify and describe spatial processes in the periphery (Ghana). This paragraph should be about 100 words.

First paragraph should be a very, very brief introduction (no more than 2 sentences or about 50 words) and the fifth should be a very brief conclusion (no more than two sentences or about 50 words). These make up the 2 in the 3-2-paragraph essay.

By putting these five paragraphs together, you would have written an essay about spatial process that underlies economic development/underdevelopment under globalization in the core, semi-periphery and periphery.
