ASSIGNMENT

The purpose of this individual assignment (only viewable by instructor/academic coach) is to give

you an opportunity to provide a critical analysis of readings, videos and the lecture covered in

Module 03 “Reproductive Rights”. Use the journal to show your understanding of the issues

involved in the debate around women’s reproductive rights. You have to record your thought

process in this journal, weighing the different arguments with regard to reproductive rights vis-à-

vis your own position.

ESSAY ORGANIZATION

1. What is your take on reproductive rights?

2. Analyze the arguments made in the assigned readings/videos.

3. How did you react to the readings/videos? What was challenging for you?

4. Research the topic online (New York Times; Washington Post; Time Magazine; etc.).

5. Present your research and compare and contrast with the assigned readings/videos.

6. Conclusion: Determine whether or not reproductive rights are important for women’s political,

economic, and social equality.
