Indent or Outdent
Use this to indent or outdent entire blocks of text.
Paragraph Marker
Use the paragraph icon to show or hide paragraph markers.
Insert Tab
Use the Insert tab when you need to:
· Insert a page break
· Insert a photo, table, chart, or clipart into your document
· Insert page numbers, headers or footers, and other special text
Styles
Use the various styles of the template document by applying one of the styles in the catalog. Place the cursor in the line of text, and click the desired style from one of the catalog entries.
References or Works Cited
Use the BibStyle to enter your bibliography lines. The second line indents automatically with this style. The third line indents automatically. The fourth line indents automatically, but when you press Enter on the keyboard, the next line will be set to the left margin, ready for the next reference.
Here’s an example of the BibStyle line:
Sautter, Maralee. Everything You Wanted to Know, But Were Afraid to Ask About Love, Hate, War, Peace, Ice Cream, Cake, and Peanut Butter. Portland: Timber Press, 2001.
