Subject: Importance of education

Education has a crucial role in planning the future of an individual who is successful in life

in addition to being a useful citizen within the society. There is no single person who is capable of

neglecting the essence of education. Basically, education tends to lessen the life challenges that

one might encounter. Therefore, I strongly believe in Education. Education is mainly something

that one is not able to lose, hence the smartest choice to get as much education can do (Shaw,

2020).

Issue of the background

The education policy comprises of the policy and principles decisions that impact the

education field, and the collection of rules plus laws governing the education systems operation.

The analysis of education policy is known to be the education policy scholarly study. It aims at

answering questions regarding the education purpose, the objectives that is both personal and

societal designed to achieve, the means for attaining them plus the tools for measuring their failure

or success (Mastro, 2021).

Discussion about different alternatives for education issue

There tends to be three key alternatives to schooling. These include democratic schools,

home-based learning or the community resource centers.

Financial analysis

Most variables affect the expenditure level a country dedicates to education, amidst them

salaries for the teachers, enrolment rates, instruction time, teaching materials cost, student teacher

ratios in addition to the class size, among others. Policy makers should balance the essence of

enhancing the quality of educational services with the expanding access desirability to the

educational opportunities. The high-quality education demand should be balanced against different

demands on the overall taxation burden plus the public expenditure (White, et.al, 2020).

Evidence-based recommendations for education policy action

The new policy objective is universalization of education from the pre-school to the

secondary level with a Gross Enrolment Ratio that is 100% in the school education by the year

2030. Via the open schooling system, NEP 2020 brings two cores out of the school children back

into the known mainstream.
